I understand that Integritee tokens will be distributed to KSM holders who support the Kusama parachain auctions. The quantity of TEER you receive as a supporter is proportional to the amount of KSM you lock until late December 2022. Each KSM will be rewarded with 20 TEER tokens until 20,000 KSM is reached. Thereafter each KSM will be rewarded with 10 TEER. My question is, is there a limit to the amount of KSM that one supporter can hold? Also, how can a supporter acquire the KSM?. What does KSM stand for?
Kusama parachain slots are leased, for a limited period, via slot auctions. Projects bid for auction slots with collateral in the form of KSM tokens. Crowdlending is one way for bidders to raise the collateral they need to win a slot. On December 15, 2021, you announced the launch of the Integritee Ambassador Program. As I know, Integritee plans to enter into partnerships with international institutions and universities. It is very interesting to hear more about this from you. As we know, Integritee plans to move to the main chain Polkadot after launching on the canary Kusama. It’s very interesting to know why you chose the Polkadot blockchain? While Going through your Lightpaper, I understand that for a technical perspective, the integritee parachain ecosystem will need collators, off-chain workers and sidechain validators. In line with this this, can you also explain how each of these 3 works in the Integritee Ecosystem? Can each work without another or are there interrelated to work together? I understand that Integritee isolates confidential state from the blockchain by maintaining it off-chain and processing it in TEEs and this strategy allows application-specific Sharding. Why did Integritee choose to isolate confidental state from Blockchain and maintain it off-chain? Can you elaborate on TEEs in which these confidential states are processed? how does TEEs works? Can you explain on why you choose to process These confidential State in TEES? In line with this, can you explain more on Application-specific Sharding? I read from your website that If Integritee doesn’t win an auction and the crowdloan campaign ends with 20,000 KSM bonded or more, 20,000 TEER will be distributed to all contributors, proportional to their contribution. Can you please elaborate more on this? In a case where a user invested in integri$tee with hopes of integri$tee being auctioned and with high hopes of ripping profit before crowdloan campaign comes to an end, Does the user still makes profit after integritee wins the auction before the crowdloan campaign ends? You have established one of the critical challenges of blockchain, and digital business in general as Cybercrime. You have also mentioned previous attempts to solve this menace as well as their inadequacies. One of such attempts is Zero Proof Knowledge(ZPK). You highlighted some of its challenges as lower scalability, largely academic and can be effectively implemented only for a very narrow range of use cases, like transferring tokens. I also understand ZPK requires large amount of computing power.
However, I find Integritee’s proposed solution, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) to be similar to Zero Proof Knowledge (ZPK) in terms of operation as you both provide insight into data without access. What are the main advantages that Integritee has over ZPK? How are you going to ensure that you overcome the limitations associated with ZPK
There have been various technological initiatives such as Secure Multiparty Computation, Homormophic Encryption, Differential Privacy and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) . Out of these, IntegriTEE has built its system around TEE. Can you highlight the benefits of TEE and how IntegriTEE is going to leverage on it to provide an unrivalled processing of private data and unchain secure transaction? Since it has been observed that the TEE system can be subjected to vulnerabilities such as hardware design flaws and backdoor attestation of unwanted devices through malicious patches, can you explain how IntegriTEE intend to add an extra protection layer and ensure that while trying to enable secure data and transaction activity, you are not opening a backdoor for insecurity?
IntegriTEE is currently using Intel SGX as the main TEE hardware for its network and each node will have to submit remote attestation to the manufacturer for authentication before transaction are passed or nodes allow to join the transaction execution environment. Why do you prefer Intel SGX hardware and what is the process of initiating a remote attestation? How do you ensure that the confirmation reports are always kept intact when these reports are being relayed back to you and where are they stored? And lastly, since we can’t rule out the possibility of technical malfunction which may cause the Intel Attestation Service you depend on to go offline or become unavailable, in such case, how will your protocol be able to carry on the work of secure transaction execution?
IntegriTEE was initially known as SubstraTEE and been developing since 2018. Can you explain why it was necessary for you to rebrand from the previous name and how your vision or business scope has been affected by this? We have recently seen that the launch of Polkadot has finally been completed with the launch of the parachains, without a doubt a great event for the DeFi world but could you explain to us how is Polkadot’s participation in the Integritee ecosystem? Are the parachains functional for the features of your project? What has changed since the launch of the parachains?
The idea of sensitive data being secure on blockchain is what the entirety of Web 3.0 is about. In fact, most crypto projects are decentralized and very secure, so I’d like to know where does Integritee stands in all of this. Will you only provide a space for both businesses and creators to provide data safety to regular users? Or will you be developing your own products and services? Also, will established platforms be able to integrate your data solutions? Will that be possible?
I noticed that a drawback of the Trusted Execution Environment(TEEs) Technology used in the The Integritee Network is that, a user has to depend on the TEE manufacturer to provide a sound Hardware and to as well provide a honest Remote Attestation. Which means,The TEE manufacturer has to sign a report to confirm that both the TEE itself, and the hash of the binary it is executing, are genuine only then can the user be rest assured that they are communicating with the correct
TEE.
I believe that this entirely defeats the whole concept of Decentralized Application(dApp) as a dApp should be operated by an unpermissioned set of infrastructure providers.
How does Integritee address or provide a solution to this drawback of the TEE technology?
You provided the features of OFF-CHAIN WOKERS to the community with the help of Polkadot sidechain. These will execute a custom state transition function or Oracle service in a Trusted execution environment (TEE). If state transitions are triggered through on-chain extrinsic with encrypted payloads (indirect invocation), which node will Off-chain workers you provided will be using? All trusted calls need to pass through the chain while using indirect invocation which is not the scalable solution, what solution will OCW bring to give a very scalable results?
According to the technical analysis of integritee project it was said that Integritee parachain ecosystem will be effective with the help of Collators, Off-chain (OCWs), and sidechain validators (SCVs), can you briefly explain how these three features will support Integritee? Since OCWs and SCVs are dApp-specific, how will they give your token TEER token value beyond its intrinsic utility?
Going through the whitepaper, there are two invocations provided including direct and indirect to make chains to work in this project, which a requester calls (1) a confidential dispatchable function (state transition) by signing a trusted call and encrypting it with the worker-enclave’s shielding key in the indirect invocation while using direct invocation, a requester need to chooses one of the sidechain validators to which to send her trusted call. But there is no information about the exact one Integritee plans to use. Are you planning to make use of the two invocations to provide a very scalable solution? How will you prevent rise to the problem of the transition ordering consensus?
Integritee is a decentralized based project and the existing centralized approaches to data-driven services tend to be fast and convenient but involve big compromises in terms of user privacy and data security, though some blockchains delivered some solutions like increased trust and security but involve unacceptable trade-offs in performance in which Integritee successfully bring Off-chain workers into the systems and this Off-chain workers(OCW) are not to be confused with parity substrate off-chain workers. I am interested to know more details about your Privacy Messenger Bridge. Can you deeply explain How do private messaging apps work on Integritee? Can we use those apps only to send sensitive data or is it OK to use them in day to day chats? Are there any prerequisites such as holding your tokens to be eligible to use those apps? You have highlighted that those apps will not expose unencrypted data to intermediaries. What type of actions you have taken to prevent illegal activities such as cyber bullying and harassing through the apps? If any data is required for legal purposes, do you have any method to recover past messages and hand over those data to relevant parties?
It caught my attention that you have doubled the reward amount for supporters from 10th of December. According to the notice, the 10 $TEER reward has become a 20 $TEER reward. Amazing! However, it has been stated that this offer only lasts until you hit 20,000KSM. Since today is the 21st of December, I am curious to know about your status. Is this offer still valid or am I late? Moreover, please let us know about your ideas on this type of future offers too. I found this one after 11 days since it was posted. Since we may forget to check the website and social media everyday, is there any convenient method such as subscribing to an email newsletter to stay updated about this type of opportunities?
When compared to the token allocations of other projects, your plan is totally different, 5% for Treasury, 5% for Founders, 25% for Ecosystem development and employee compensation, 30% for Rewards for supporters of parachain slot auction bids, and 35% for Early adopter. What are your allocations for the presale and the private sale? Are you not going to conduct them? Without those sales, how do you raise adequate funds for the project?
