  1. Pollen Platform introduces two game changing new assets to the ecosystem which are the Portfolio Asset Index token (PAI) and the POLLEN Governance Token. POLLEN is a token designed to tackle governance issues commonplace in today’s DeFi ecosystem and The Pollen Portfolio is used to collateralize the PAI token, which provides a safer way to participate in the DeFi Ecosystem. Can you elaborate on the Portfolio Asset Index and its features? How does the PAI tokens provides safer way to participate in the DeFi Ecosystem? Can you also explain how the Pollen Portfolio is used to collateralize the PAI Token? And lastly, what are other use cases of the PAI token?

  2. Extreme hyperinflation in some token economics saw some projects emit their entire governance token supply within weeks and these distributions concentrated the voting power among a handful of actors and the governance functions were tended to be limited at best. Can you explain how Pollen’s POLLEN governance model addresses such issues and ensure that Governance right are not limited, and are evenly distributed among its community members? I also understand that Pollen offers incentives for community member participation, can you share some of the activities that will make a community member eligible receive these incentives?

  3. I understand that the Pollen ecosystem consist of 3 users which are the traders, delegator and communities, already understanding who traders and communities are, My concerns are on the delegators, you said delegators are users who don’t have time to suggest and vote on Proposals made by traders, instead they delegate their Voting Power to traders. Can you explain briefly on how users can become delegators? Can you also explain on how these delegators delegate their Voting right to Traders? can delegators select the traders that they want to delegate their votes to or are these traders automatically selected by Pollen platform? what are the benefits of Delegators in Pollen Platform? Lastly, What are the requirements for Traders to Create proposals?

  4. I Read in your post that writing from Pollen DeFi on Medium. Pollen DeFi is a first of its kind decentralised, next-gen index platform. The hive-mind. My question is, what are the benefits of pollen Defi?

  5. What are the standout features that Pollen has that makes it special and unique from other similar projects?

  6. Most of the Crypto projects available are built just for the sole purpose of amassing wealth for themselves. So, I want to know the value you aim to bring to the crypto industry that will bring greater abundance to the industry?

  7. While researching for the AMA, I felt that your project has a bright future. Thus, I thought of investing some of my funds in Pollen and I clicked on the button, “Join The Whitelist”. Unfortunately, I got a notice, “The Whitelist is now closed”. I hope to know whether there will be a second chance for those who missed the opportunity to apply. If you do not open the application process again, what will be the next best chance to purchase your tokens? Please explain how do we prepare ourselves for those events. How should we stay updated about upcoming chances? In addition to announcing them on the website and social media channels, do you offer an option to subscribe for updates and get an email when there are important events?

  8. The Pollen Ecosystem has three types of users, Traders, Delegators and Communities. Can you separately explain about the opportunities available for each group on your platform? Which group will get the priority with more benefits? Moreover, I read that communities are yet to be introduced and smaller groups of users will be able to create their own asset pools after Pollen DAO goes live. Please give us more details about creating these small groups and forming asset pools. Are users permitted to create their own groups or does the platform automatically include randomly selected users in one group? Compared to using the ecosystem as an individual user, what are the advantages of forming groups?

  9. I am not familiar with one of your concepts called “Token Darwinism”. Is this a unique idea introduced by Pollen Ecosystem? What is the reason to introduce this concept? Please deeply explain how does it work and what kind of benefits that users get due to the availability of this model. You have mentioned that stronger performers will get positive results, but it is not clear how do you distinguish stronger and weaker performers. What are the techniques of becoming a stronger performer? Compared to weaker performers, what are the opportunities available for stronger performers? On the other hand, what will happen to the tokens that are naturally left behind due to bad performance. Will they be burned?

  10. I learnt that Pollen is planning to host a team Vs team trading competition after the mainnet. Can you give a sneak peek about this competition. What are the requirements that interested users must meet to be able to participate in this competition? How many traders will be allowed to form a team? Will the teams be required to pay any form of fee to participate? What are the rewards that you plan you give the team that wins this trading competitionn?

  11. I found out that soon after the Pollen DAO goes live, smaller groups of users which you called “mini-DAOs” will be introduced to the Pollen ecosystem. Can you mention the contributions that will be made by these mini-DAOs in the Pollen ecosystem and how will they be of benefit to users?

  12. Pollen is said to be the first of its kind decentralized, next-gen index where the community holds all the power. The $PLN token is the governance token of the Pollen ecosystem. Can you give more details about the governance mechanism in Pollen? How can users get the $PLN tokens? Will users have to hold a certain amount of $PLN tokens to have full governance rights? Will the governance/voting power of users depend on the the amount of$PLN tokens held by the user or will there be other factors that will determine the governance/voting power of users?

  13. During your last visit to the club on February 9th, You told us that you are currently in alpha testnet and people can start to sign up for early access. You also promised to publish a detailed roadmap and elaborated technical documents including a whitepaper. Can you feed us on how far progress you have made since your last visit? Also, I discovered that you are yet to publish the whitepaper and roadmap as promised. Are there any technical details that you are still sorting out? And lastly, I checked your website and I discovered that it is still saying that you are in alpha testnet stage and users can still sign up for early whitelist access. Is it according to project plan for you to be in alpha test stage since February? Is there any estimated period when MainNet will finally be live?

  14. I discovered that you have two tokens which are Pollen token and PIA token. Pollen token will serve as the merit_based reward system by rewarding those worker bees (traders) who are actively creating proposals to optimize portfolios as the market changes WHILE PIA token will be the first index to be launched. I will like to have the knowledge how PAI provides a safe haven in times of volatility without exeiting the market? If DAI is pegged to the dollar, how will PAI dissociate itself to become geared towards steady growth? Can you give details on how PAI will be optimized?

  15. You planned to build the DAO of the future through three features which are collective intelligence, collective decision-making and meritocratic-based ecosystems. Can you give an overview on how these features will provide better DAO future? Is there any knowledge you provided for harvesting in the collective intelligence?

  16. The main thing the team is developing presently is building Pollen to be a product-led project and I discovered that the project is still on test net where you can identify bugs in the development before releasing the MAINNET. I want to ask what is the experience you have during the testnet for the preparation of mainnet or what are users review concerning the development? What has been the reaction of the blockchain you are using? You also planned to reorder your roadmap, can you provide us with the latest update?

Some days back you revealed your upcoming “Incentivized Beta” platform which will go live this December. We are already in December,so can you specify to us the exact date of when you “Beta” platform will go live? You also stated that the “Beta” platform will be opened to whitelisted users who can begin building community credibility, compete for a position on the community leaderboard etc.So how about users that were not opportuned to be whitelisted won’t they also be selected to join in your Incentivized Beta Test?Which of your tokens($PAI/$PLN) will be used to specifically empower your Incentivized Beta Test? How about those who missed your whitelisting, will there be an alternative for them to join/participate in your Beta Test?If yes,can you kindly explain to us the steps to do so? Please explain Thanks

  18. Portfolio managers in a traditional assets management work, make all the investment decisions and earn all the fees themselves for managing a portfolio, with little or no say from investors over what happens in the portfolio they invest in.In Pollen, will be possible for investors to be both Portfolios Managers of their own investments and also make investment decisions? Is there any incentive structure in place that will reward those who make best investment decision on behalf of a portfolio? And which token will users use to vote on investments decision/earn for their actions in helping to manage a portfolio? Is it $PAI or $PLN token? Please explain Thanks

  19. Come Q1 2022, Pollen will be having two programs on its platform,First is the “Community Investment Program” and Second “Bug Bounty Program”.So can you first elaborate more on the “Community Investment Program”?What will this program feature? As for the Bug Bounty Program having this on your platform shows how security is the number one priority of your platform. So can you give us more details of this program? What will be the reward earned for those who find a bug in your platform? How long will this program last? What will be the criteria to join the program and also state the examples of issues you are looking out for? Please kindly explain to us the structure of both programs Thanks

  20. The first index token you plan to launch is Portfolio Asset Index, PAI, which you said can provide a safe haven in times of volatility without exiting the market. Can you tell us more about this token index and the constituent assets composition that make up the index which empower it to be a DeFi token geared toward steady growth? How does PAI rebalances and what strategy does it use to ensure its financial growth does not have any correlation with market bearings? How can users use this portfolio index to overcome their own limitations and exploit market opportunities?

  21. The Pollen ecosystem is built around 3 set of users which include traders, delegators and community. Can you explain more about your Protocol’s suitability for the community and how they can use it to operate a mini-DAO for creating their own asset pool? How does professionals traders and influencers set up branded asset pools and How are these asset pools turned on for public utilisation which will allow them to earn community merit and tokens?

  22. $POLLEN and $PAI, are the tokens that are related to Pollen Defi, so, could you share the characteristics of both $POLLEN and $PAI, give us a brief description of their functions within the platform, explain us what are the benefits and opportunities for those who buy them, and tell us, what is the cost of $POLLEN and $PAI and what are your plans and strategies to implement to maintain an attractive value of both tokens in the long term and finally share with us, where can we acquire $POLLEN and $PAI for the first time and what are their contracts?

  23. You said you have designed POLLEN as a token which focuses on user participation and utility and to tackle governance issues commonplace in today’s Defi ecosystem, this is quite interesting because POLLEN is a decentralized finance platform itself, but as a newbie I do not know the governance issues that are common place in today’s Defi ecosystem and I’m sure same apply to all newbies in Satoshi Club community, please can you kindly explain to us the governance issues common in today’s Defi ecosystem? How will POLLEN address this issues with it’s tokens? What other issues aside governance issues in today’s Defi ecosystem has POLLEN been able to address so as to make trading and investing in it’s platform safe and secure or even cheaper and comfortable? Please explain

  24. Pollen will operate as a DAO and you said that your protocol will identify the best governance decision-makers based on voting reputation and adds them to a Collective Delegation group. Can you explain more about this your voting reputation system and what makes a voter a reputable DAO member? How is this type of system structured to avoid whale domination and ensure fairness? How does a user get invited into the delegation group and what procedure do you use to ensure that vote delegations are not misused or assigned to associates/cronies for the purpose of swinging decision to favour a particular purpose?

  25. Good governance is participatory, but participation and more importantly decisions made must be Merit-based.this can only be made possible by creating protocols that can be safely community governed that always work in the best interest of the platform that can truly achieve full decentralization. POLLEN’S aim is to achieve full decentralization, kindly explain to us, how do you insure all decisions made are Merit-based? What protocols have you created that are safely community governed and are best for the platform to achieve full decentralized?

  26. Yesterday, you broke the news that you will release your token on Avalanche and that users should start setting up their AVAX wallet in order to participate in IDO. This is quite surprising because I remembered that you tested alpha on ETH, prepare tokenomics on BSC and now, you announced the token launch on Avalanche. What attracted you to Avalanche blockchain and why did you settle for this network out of others? On which launchpad will users join your IDO and what will be required to buy tokens? How will the movement to Avalanche affect your token, its supply and distribution?

  27. Pollen has a delegation model, which I understand is for users who do not have time to suggest and vote on the proposals made by the most active traders on the platform, but could you tell us how this delegation works, what problems they want to solve by implementing it and how users are encouraged to participate in it?

  28. You have “pollen model”,”governance model”and “collective delegation model” please let’s talk about the delegation model, you said delegators are users who don’t have the time to suggest and vote on proposals made by more active traders on the platform, instead they can delegate their voting powers to the traders based on merit while earn passively.pleae can you elaborate more on this, how can delegators delegate their voting powers to the active traders? If they delegate their voting power powers to this traders and the winners are allocated more decision making power, how do the delegators earn passively from this? What amount of pollen or PAI tokens can this delegators hold to have voting right?

  29. Delegators can delegate their voting power to more active traders on the platform. This delegation is done on merit and delegators can earn passively. How is merit for delegates measured? At what point can a user become delegator? How is reward shared between delegators annd delegates?

  30. I read that this decentralized platform is based on meritocracy, so could you explain why you made the decision to establish this governance system, how it improves the DAO you are creating and how it helps the user experience?

  31. You say that the recent explosion of governance models within the DeFi ecosystem didn’t come without challenges. What are, according to your own perspective, the most difficult challenges to overcome? You mentioned that Pollen’s POLLEN governance model addresses these issues. Can you specify exactly which issues POLLEN provides solutions to? Of all those issues, is there one that is your focus number one or the main one? What would your secondary focuses be?

  32. As they manage to keep the index token stable in the face of a financial system that is so volatile and sensitive to any movement, the members of mini DAO will have the right to participate in the internal contracts of the project, which is the essence of these small groups. types of assets, which are accepted in Pollen?

  33. There are many projects that reach the Defi world but very few manage to leave their mark by working for the benefit of the entire system, most work individually, how can Pollen contribute to the real and total democratization of decentralized finance, can you explain how Does the protocol work, and what do users need to know to get the best results?

  34. On what depends the stability and volatility control of PAI, we can obtain passive assets through Pollen, if so, what is the mechanism to achieve it. Can you give us a little conclusion about the concept and essence of Pollen from your personal vision? Thanks

  35. You have introduced two tokens, $PLN and $PAI. As per my understanding, $PLN is your governance token and the reward token. Please correct me if I am wrong. I hope to know whether there is a specific reason to create a single token for both purposes. By the way, what is the role of $PAI on Pollen Ecosystem? Although you have mentioned that $PAI will occupy the space between a stablecoin and crypto asset, it is not clear what is the connection between $PAI and Pollen Ecosystem. Further, I read that $PAI is geared towards steady growth unlike $DAI. Can you explain this point and let us know how does it perform better than $DAI? What type of techniques have you used to create $PAI with a steady growth?

  36. Pollen merit-based governance model builds member reputation and rewards them based on decision outcomes. This model also encourages users to delegate their voting rights which can be done via two options: Individual Delegation and Group Delegation. So how is your merit-based governance model implemented? How do you track the performance of community members and there different reputation levels? How do you ensure that voting power is delegated to the most deserving and how are this delegates rewarded for active governance participation? Lastly what’s the difference between Individual Delegation and Group Delegation?

  37. I am curious to know how do you use the concept of collective intelligence for the betterment of your ecosystem. I noticed that you have highlighted it as one of your features. Do you have any practical method to collect information available on different sources to one place? You have planned to create small groups of users soon. Is it related to this feature of collective intelligence? When different users work in a same group, there will be both active and inactive members. It is not fair to offer same rewards for both types. How do you separately identify them? Within the concept of collective intelligence, what type of techniques do you use to offer rewards according to the dedication of single users?

  38. Pollen covers two main aspects, maintaining an asset pool and allowing users to curate their own custom asset pools. Since there may be newbies in your community, please separately explain about the functions related to each aspect. Can a single user take advantage of the asset pool managed by Pollen while curating his own asset pool too? Or should users select an option between the main asset pool and the custom asset pool? Are there any prerequisites to be eligible to curate an own asset pool? Should users hold a minimum amount of $PLN or $PAI?

  39. Pollen is a DAO Platform and asset management protocol that allows others to launch their own asset indexes and share them with the community. To ensure the safety of users funds, what measures have you put in place to ensure that the created asset pools have reduce market risk, and create a safe harbour for market volatility? What benefits would a member who creates a profitable and safe asset indexes get?

  40. The Portfolio Asset Index (PAI) is said to be the first Index to be launched on Pollen platform. It’s designed to occupy the space between a stablecoin and crypto asset, with the ability to be stable in times of volatility without exiting the market and also geared towards steady grow. Can you elaborate on how PAI is able to achieve this duality of stablecoin and crypto asset? You also mentioned that this can be optimized for use cases such as lending, so what are your plans for lending feature?

  41. The team that created and designed Pollen think that DeFi, s billion dollar plus market needs an asset managment tool that goes beyond yield farming, and AMMs. I completely agree with that. To solve this problem Pollen brings community powererd DAOs. What are the features it can give to DeFi that yield farming and AMMs cannot?

  42. The POLLEN model allows Pollen to separate the asset pool token economy and governance functions. It uses merit-based rewards for asset pool management, rewarding positive participation. How can users participate positively to get rewarded, and also execute governance functions?

  43. The POLLEN model allows Pollen to separate the asset pool token economy and governance functions. It uses merit-based rewards for asset pool management, rewarding positive participation. How can users participate positively to get rewarded, and also execute governance functions?

  45. It is mentioned that Pollen Ecosystem has three aspects include Traders, Delegators, and Community. In term of benefit, I guess those three has different percentage of gained revenue for their investment. Based on this BENEFIT point of view, can you describe the difference between Traders, Delegators, and Community?

  46. I noticed about token Darwinism at Pollen platform. Can you please elaborate this idea? Are you adopting this from the philosophy of Darwinism and applying it to the token ecosystem? Who and how do users get benefit from this token model? Does the low level of ecosystem will have chance the top level based of the philosophy of Darwinism?

  47. When you talk about Pollen, you talk about being a ‘next-gen index’ and ‘DeFi 2.0’. Would you delve deeper into what characteristics does your index has to be the next generation of DeFi products? Do you think your technology can be adapted by all top DeFi platforms? Are you already working on it, with partnerships or collabs?

  48. Hello Pollen team. I read on your website that Pollen uses a model called “Collective Delegation”, it made me curious, since I had not heard of this model before. I would like to know from your point of view, what are the great advantages and benefits of this model? For what reasons did you decide to implement this model within the Pollen platform? What are the main differences between this model and the model called direct delegation? Thank you!

  49. The over reliance on the DAO governance model will prompt Pollen to launch Community DAO Portfolios as a follow-up to the planned rool out of its native Portfolio. Its stated that the Community DAO Portfolio will give everyone irrespective of location and experience the ability to join and participate in trading activities. Appreciating the brilliance with this, can you further elaborate on the features, functions and privileges that come with your uique Portfolio, how are they tailor made for even the least experienced Crypto trader? Can you also make us understand how decision making within this Portfolio will transcend from most experienced users to novices?

  50. To complement the operations of the Pollen DAO, mini-DAOs would be created, giving opportunities to smaller group of users to create their own asset. When emphasis is placed on the term “smaller group of users”, what does it really entail, which categories of persons can be classified under this group? What kind of assets are created within this group, and how will they leverage on the resources within Pollen DAO to create successful pools? Also, its stated that professionals traders and influencers can set up “branded asset pools” for others join. May we know what sort of assets are classified as “branded asset Pools”? Can these influencers also decide on the persons allowed to trade on such assets?

  51. Pollen has a range of voting mechanics that builds on stake holders reputation in the system and scales users voting power through a meritocratic validation of decision making history. Those that have the power earned it through participation and merits of their decision making. With that in mind I would like to remind you that in every organization/business,there are always new investors with little knowledge of the organization and it’s entire procedures and at such to be put into consideration. Now my question,Since they are relatively new to the project, will such ones be given rights to vote and also makes decisions?Or it solely based on the longer you stay the more voting power you acquire? Can a new stake holder influence the decision making process depending on the their stakes? explain thanks

  52. While reading your article I noticed that Pollen has 2 game changing new assets which consist of the Portfolio Asset Index token(PAI)and the POLLEN governance token. But I also came across another Governance token called STEM and STEM holders.i’m a bit confused here ,who are these STEM holders? And what are there functions in the Pollen platform? Is the POLLEN governance token a replacement to STEM governance token? If it’s a replacement what prompted the change and creation of a new governance token?

  53. The pollen DeFi enables their community members to create their own indexes or portfolios based on popular crypto coin or token
You’ve given your community members a chance to prove their worth and that’s awesome. As an interested newbie I would loved to be a part of your community, what are the basic requirements needed me to be eligible to create my own indexes or portfolios? Also there are numerous tokens available right now in the market, but you mentioned popular ones.here are some of them BTC,ETH,USDC and the likes which is more accepted in your platform since your project is based on ERC20?

  54. While researching for this AMA, I found out that Pollen just recently announced their ‘Beta’ release of platform which sounds great. Can you please tell us what to expect from the ‘Beta’ platform? What separates it from the previous platform and who can access it?
    Thank you.

  55. The ‘hive mind’ idea behind pollen is an incredible point of difference. I think it’s absolutely brilliant and extremely novel in how it embraces and takes the idea of decentralisation to a whole new level. However I’m curious on whether the system will be able to test / offer feedback to the community on how aligned the hive mind sentiment is to the broader market?
