  1. Currently, the main Radix website is down, is this part of a technical error or is it due to an outside influence? Does this happen often or not? IvanOnTech thinks Radix is technically superior to Ethereum and Polkadot is this true? There are a lot of crypto enthusiasts who don’t understand the English language enough and don’t speak it well. So, are you going to use the local community to raise more awareness of your project among these people in different countries?

  2. Many blockchain projects are on paper only and no product or product has no practical meaning. Please let us know what is your project currently practical product in use? What are your plans for the product to be better in the future?

  3. How does Radix work? What are the priority points of the solution that Radix brings to everyone?

  4. Will customer information be kept private or will it be leaked like some banks? How is it secured? How does Radix deal with obstacles to accessing De-Fi services: liquidity being fragmented to various protocols and services, trade fee, subpar UI/UX and high gas cost with on-chain transactions? Can you tell us about the superior features that can give Radix a competitive edge against strong competitors who continuously innovate, update themselves and influence users with products new? What is the main goal, partnership you are trying to achieve in the near future? And do you already have a cooperative connection with strategic partners in the crypto world?

  5. Explain a bit more how Radix token will work in the ecosystem. Can you describe why we should use $Radix instead of others? Which types of advantages users perceive in your platform? Is staking supported in your project? How will system operate? Is it secure? What is necessary for we need to stake in your platform? Does running Radix’s project at in the boom of NFT like this make you nervous? What are the positives and negatives in your case at now? Will be able to rival and catch up with a market which is in strong development?

  6. What percent of the commercial currency which I can borrow compared to the valuable collateral? What percentage is the interest rate? What are the plans to ensure sufficient liquidity on exchanges to fill market orders, especially as adoption increases and clients begin multiplying year over year? Can you please explain us more about Radix transaction model? Does it aim to remove control over execution, allow for faster transaction execution times, and provide equal opportunities for users? What is the technological principle behind it?

  7. Does your project have an API integration? What features do you look for when evaluating an API for suitability? What about some of the common pitfalls with API based trading your platform faces and how do you overcome them?

  8. Olympia Mainnet Coming soon.
    Don’t understand 100% why that’s so good.
Can you explain by use simple words ?

    Thanks

  9. „Radix is the only decentralized network where developers will be able to build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks,….“

Why are u sure 100% that’s Hacks not possible?

  10. Radix is the first layer-one protocol specifically built to serve large-scale DeFi applications. As I understood Radix help developers build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks..
    Could you please explain ,
Is Radix DDT only for developers ?how can normal users be benefitted from Radix ?
What are the usecases of $eXRD and what are the possible ways of profit making by $eXRD ?

  11. When I reading about Radix it somewhat complicated to understand..but I really interested to know more about this huge project,Radix..
Could you please introduce Radix simply for normal users just like me ?what are the main purposes of Radix and which problems will be solved in DeFi space by Radix ?Who are the target audience for your project ?

  12. As of today, Radix is on Betanet roadmap, is it safe to transfer funds and use your products even though it is at its early stages?

  13. It is my first time to hear about the kind of consensus Radix is using, the atomic cross-shard consensus. Can you explain to us the advantage of this consensus compared to others?

  14. Understanding that in a dapp users have control and participation in its operation, and access to its services with great security. How can Radix users contribute dapp code to benefit from the rewards it offers?

  15. In 2020, many defi platforms, already audited, suffered hacks that left very large losses. What makes Radix the only network where developers can advance the project, without the threat of exploits and hacks?

  16. The Radix project has an important and quite ambitious scope. What security parameters do you have in place to make your platform the most reliable?

  17. I understand that RADIX is a project that wants to dedicate a problem worldwide using the DeFi as a primary method and to a market that can be carried many in a more secure way, of course this would be future plans since the capital of DeFi e is very Little and only enough for a certain part, taking into account that the DeFi have grown rapidly so far this year and if all goes well in two years maximum it would already cover the 75 billion dollars of 0.05% of the world’s GDP, They give many benefits, how do you plan to solve this problem, what methods do you plan to use to bring DeFi to all possible users and thus provide a fairer economy for all? What led them to work based on the main problems of the world economy that only few benefit because of the banking systems that have many barriers that do not allow many users to invest or only obtain profits?

  18. What contributions and solutions does RADIX bring? It is already focused on solving the problems and barriers of traditional and closed financial systems that do not adopt new forms of more sustainable service to users, I also understand that developers are detained in the same way by these For reasons, RADIX will take the solution of these problems by itself or will seek help from developers outside the project since it is something that suits many? What would be the methods to improve and revolutionize DeFi in a successful way and provide an equitable financial system?

  19. So far the RADIX proposal is to create a system without touching or breaking composability where networks such as ethereun 2.0, polkadot, cosmos, etc. have failed, this being the problem of the CERBERUS 1 consensus protocol, requiring new developments in the smart contracts themselves that are piracy proof, code failures among others, in which CERBERUS 1 fails, they plan to improve something of this protocol or simply the creation of a new protocol? which represents interoperability the creation of decentralized and self-incentive systems part of the developers?

  20. Will the initial release of the Radix mainnet include a stripped down version of the Cerberus Consensus? Is the capability described in this document pertaining to the full version of Cerberus intended for a later mainnet upgrade? The DLT network will be a test network or will it be a new and improved CERBERUS 1 protocol network, what changes would this bring?

  21. In what way RADIX plans to change the world economy since I think by touching or distorting the philosophy that is managed by the big financiers is the only one that has been used since forever, then how would they do to integrate DeFi so as not to alter the system of execution that is carried out ended up being traditional and closed? What changes would the DLT network bring to decentralized finance and application developers without disturbing the interoperability and composability of CERBERUS 1?

  22. DeFi needs a specially designed solution more urgently because the personal wealth of the users is at stake in every transaction carried out so something intriguing, so that for the users is that DeFi has held its prolonged growth so far this year, How soon will RADIX have a more secure financial system so that users can make everything more secure?

  23. I read that Radix has it’s token; XRD, but also has another version of it’s token called eXRD, which it’s main function is to allow users to move quickly between Ethereum and Radix. But, is this the only use case for eXRD or are there any other use cases for it? Why you just didn’t have one token capable of providing this quickness for users? Also, it made me curious, if you have this token for a quick moving between ETH and Radix, if later on Radix’s services are available on other blockchains, will you have other variants of XRD, such as a BEP-2O for BSC, for example?

  24. It caught my attention the fact that Radix describes itself as “the only platform where developser will be able to quickly build without the constant threar of exploits and hacks”. That being said, can you give us more details about how does Radix achieve this level of security for the developers on the platform? It is well known that a lot of platform constantly struggle with this kind of threats, so, what makes Radix different from them? How are you capable of providing this security when others are unable to do so?

  25. While reading about Radix, I saw that the project is being released into three phases; Olympia, Alexandria and Babylon, can you tell share more details about this three phases with us? Why are this phases named after Greek mythology? And what are the benefits for the platform but most importantly for users, of being released into phases? Also, I saw that Olympia, your first phase will be launch on July 28th, can you give us an inside look of what to expect on this point? What is going to happen on this phase?

  26. You have introduced the concept of “individual invisible token”. It seems like a good solution for prevailing issues. However, did you check the security aspect of this concept? Can hackers or bots steal these tokens more easily than stealing traditional tokens? Further, can we exchange these invisible tokens to traditional tokens? Can we use them outside of your platform? Since this is a whole new concept, users will need more clarifications. Do you have any resources with explanations on this type? What are the available options to buy these tokens? Where do you see this concept of “individual invisible token” in next 10 years?

  27. I was reading on your docs that what makes Radix special is this unique form of consensus which is called “Cerberus”, could you provide us with more information about this consensus? First of all, why did you decide to named it after Hades’ dog, does it have any similarities with this mythologycal creature? How does this consensus work and what are the advanages Radix get because of it? What makes it so unique? How do Radix’s users beneficiate from the implementation of Cerberus on your platform?

  28. I saw that Radix is being described as, I quote: “The only Deentralized Network where developers will be abe to build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks”. With that being said, I’m curious about, what do developers need to do if they want to fully enjoy of all the services Radix offers to them? Do they need to pay something for that or is there any kind of evaluation they need to go through? How is this process in general for it?

  29. Olympia Mainnet Lanching is on 28th of July. In your medium, you have indicated that the Radix Desktop Wallet will be included in this release. Although you have said you have a higher degree of confidence on it’s security and reliability, that statement does not suffice for the community. Do you have any insurance partners? Did you conduct any audits? Where can we see some audit reports if available? Do you take the responsibility about the funds we keep in Radix Desktop Wallets? Why did you choose this particular wallet?

  30. It came to my attention that while looking for information about Radix, I saw that one of it’s use cases is for NFTs but I didn’t see anymore about that. So, could you give us more details about this use case Radix will have? What kind of innovative NFT related service will you offer? Will it be only for devs or will it be something regular users could take advantage from as well?

  31. Xi’an is coming in 2023 and it aims to make DeFi the global mainstream. The concept is attractive. However, do you think it is an achievable target? When DeFi is becoming popular, transaction costs will keep increasing. Plus, there are several issues related to complexity and money laundering in DeFi. Do you have any long term solutions for these problems? Will governments accept DeFi with this kind of problems? We can see some countries ban cryptocurrencies because financial institutions are not able to control or regulate transactions. In that kind of situation, how to make DeFi popular? I cannot notice any development related to this main concept even in Babylon which will be launched in 2022. Are you going to include all the developments in Xi’an at once? 2023 is not so far. What you have already done to achieve this target?

  32. Hi Radix!

Radix claims to be the only decentralized network where developers will be able to build without the constant threat of exploits and hacks and where every improvement will get rewarded and scaling will never be a bottleneck. Can you please explain how you plan to achieve these wonderful promises and make the lives of developers and users so much better than currently possible? Thank you!

  33. Radix has identified 3 major problems facing the current Defi set up which is currently being championed by Ethereum. The first is that solidity developers spends over 85% of their time securing code rather than developing functionality, the second is the less collaborative innovation due to community developers not adequately compensated and the third is unfriendly gas that limit blockchain adoption by an average user. How is Radix designed to be the perfect blockchain that will address these three challenges? How “Scrypto” (your own Defi programming language) better than solidity and in what way is your Blockchain Distributed Ledger Technology structured to create contracts without the need to worry about hacks and exploits? How will you be able to achieve all these without breaking composability which is often the case with solutions that is built to tackle scalability?

  34. Hi Radix!

Radix uses atomic cross-shard consensus and has a paper published at Cornell University about the Cerberus: a set of minimalistic primitives for processing single-shard and multi-shard transactions. Cerberus aims at maximizing parallel processing at shards while minimizing coordination within and between shards. Can you tell us why you adopted this approach? What are its main benefits compared to older “traditional” consensus algorithms? Thank you.

  35. Your protocol has what you called a “Blueprint Library” that will allow developers to replicate ledger functionality using “Instantiated Components”. You said this can reduce the need to always deploy a contract again and again by multiple developers everytime. Can you explain more about the Blueprint Library and Instantiated Components and how they are used? How does a developer create a standard using this feature and how is such standard blueprint called for replicated usage? What benefits does these functions have and how does it make version control and upgrading easier to deploy or manage?

  36. Hi Radix!

Radix is the first layer-one protocol specifically built to serve DeFi. Radix introduces a scalable, secure-by-design, composable platform with a DeFi centric development environment to make it easy to build and launch scalable DeFi products. Could you explain the secure-by-design part please? What unique functionality and algorithms have you created that make the Radix blockchain so secure? How secure is it exactly by the way, as we know it is alway possible to break something just may be economically not feasible. Thank you!

  37. Radix is said to make use of both Proof-of-stake, POS, and Delegated-Proof-of-stake, dPOS, consensus. How are these two Consensus mechanisms used in Radix to reach agreement and what is the essence of combining these two consensus algorithm in Radix? How many nodes are required to participate in the network when consensus agreement are decided? Also, I read that Radix will make use of Cerberus consensus. Can you explain more about Cerberus Consensus and why it is designed as a cross-shards system that operate between shards rather than operating within boundaries of shards as seen in other Sharding system?

  38. How much does the Radix team care about security? Even projects that have been audited many times in 2020 have been hacked. Since Radix is a big project, what precautions does it take to hack etc.?

  39. HI Radix

Radix is the only protocol that uses sharding to deliver linear scalability – without breaking composability. What plans does Radix have to meet the throughput needs of any number of dApps as the network grows? And will all of those dApps continue to interoperate without limitation? How does using Cerberus sharded consensus protocol come into play?Is there any application for users to interact with on Radix?

  40. HI Radix

Objectives are what you want to achieve while Strategy is your plan of action to achieve your objective. My question is,What are the Validator Strategy and Objectives in Radix? How can one become a Validator in Radix? What will be the benefits of the Validator? In every POS blockchain network it is constituted of more than a single validator based upon the system requirements,How many Validators is presently working in Radix? Can you share with us your project timeline?

  41. HI Radix

Sharding is widely hailed as a solution to blockchain scalability. Won’t implementing sharding technology in Radix introduce new security risks into their blockchains, which could make them vulnerable to consensus attacks? If one shard gets taken over by hackers, Won’t it trigger a domino effect that would impact token price and lead to a mass exodus of users and nodes? What hybrid model is Radix Using to ensure users safety?

  42. Can anyone become a validator in Radix? What are the process and requirements to be a validator? Will it be only limited with 100 validators as it is mentioned in your system or do you have a plan to increase this number? Some project’s nodes require a high quality system and it becomes quite expensive for the node runners. How expensive is your system?

  43. Many projects are already offering Layer-2 for scaling solutions and so far, it work quite useful, cheap and easy. Why do Radix not just use Layer-2 for scaling? Do you have a plan to activate it in the future or do you have a better plan then Layer-2 solution?

  44. Many projects are not choosing this way due to copying concerns, but open-source projects contribute a lot to the technology itself! What was your intention and plan to be open-source? Can Radix be able to protect the revenue of developers in this case?

  45. In a part of your white paper I read that you plan to implement a sharded Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) feature , named Cerberus, however I did not quite understand exactly what will be the function of Cerberus within your platform, how it works and what will be the benefits regarding the safety of users and developers?

  46. As you are a security-based project, I would like to know why you decided to choose the ethereum network as the basis for your project and the E-RADIX token ecosystem, which characteristics make the ETH network much safer for you than its more advanced competitor. BSC?

  47. On your website I read that you are the only decentralized network where developers will be able to build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks, for this reason I would like to know, what are the security measures that your platform have to achieve this, in addition, since exploits and hacks evolve and become more effective every day, how do you plan to combat this constant evolution to maintain the security of the developers and the project over the pass of the years ?

  48. I just realized that you use 2 tokens the XRD and the eXRD, so can you please explain us what are the differences between both ones?

  49. Radix points out over and over the weaknesses of Ethereum and how this service will become obsolete over time. However this protocol is one of the most used in DeFi despite its high fees, can you tell us how Radix compares with Ethereum and what benefits does it have in relation to fees?

  50. Can you explain the concept of linear scalability? And how do you plan to achieve the Radix adoption in every decentralized application? Why is Radix attractive for developers?

  51. When Radix founder and eventually Radix team came up with blocktrees, DAGs, CAST, and Tempo, you encountered many problems and obstacles along the way. As these experimental blockchains were and are the entire baseline of Radix, I’d like to know how Cerberus came to be and stay, I’m curious, did you find any major problems when developing it? What were the solutions for them? Why is Cerberus the best you created and is there room for improvement in the following years? How safe is it?

  52. ⭐️ Radix basically offers a new branding ecosystem where users can operate, but can you please explain us more about the radix chain? What are its advantages over other chains like Ethereum?

  53. Alexandria will be the second big launch of Radix, a place where users can create and Build the other technologies, but all of these will be possible using your native programming language Scrypto, so can you give us a little introduction about this new language? Do you have educational terms about how works?

  54. On your white paper you say that “The Component Catalog and Developer Royalties provide the foundations of a fully decentralized marketplace for Component development”, and related to this I read that developers of Components may freely set their own per-transaction royalties and that they will be enforced by the Radix protocol. What benefits for the users of your platform will be generated thanks to this feature that allows component developers to set their own per-transaction royalties, and in what way RADIX DLT intends to enforce this per-transaction royalties in order to provide more benefits to the independent developers who participate in this magnificent project?

  55. On your economics page i read about something called NETWORK EMISSION. In that section you mention that RADIX PROTOCOL will periodically create new RADIX TOKENS which will be paid to all delegators that have STAKED tokens to Staking Nodes that have been participating in consensus. I would like to know what requirements users must meet to be considered delegators and what is the minimum amount of RADIX Tokens that these delegators must have staked to receive these payments, finally another thing that caught my attention are the staking nodes ,how do they work and how many will be available?

  56. You mention that Radix is a place where DeFi can thrive, but could you really explain to us what DeFi really needs to be able to “thrive” that you will only find in Radix?

  57. If really in Radix you can create such a great variety of products, with unlimited scalability, then why Olympia that will be released soon, why will it only have 50 tps? Could it be that soon Radix will be able to provide you with greater speed?

  58. You say that Radix is building the future of DeFi, but what features does Radix really provide that other projects don’t? And also, how do you guarantee that with Radix, the full potential of DeFi can be used?

  59. I could see in your roadmap that “Olimpia” will be available in a few days, so could you really tell us more about it? What will be its characteristics and how it works? And also why does Cerberus use consensus?

  60. You point out that you have a shared mission for 100 million DeFi users, but why do you really make that number so high? Is that the maximum number of users that use DeFi? or are they the ones they want to achieve?

  61. I could see that they have a great diversity of products that they can develop, therefore, are there already projects that have used your platform to develop their products? If so, could you tell us some of those projects?

  62. You mention that Radix is developing a platform that will allow its customers to create powerful DeFi applications, but what do you really mean by “powerful applications”? Will they have a great diversity of tools? Or simply because they will have unlimited scalability?

  63. Many projects implement large algorithms, with huge amounts of complex mathematical equations to achieve the expected performance, but why doesn’t Radix use the use of mathematical equations in its algorithm? Is it because its operation is very simple?

  64. On your website I read that they mention a lot that scalability will never be a problem or “bottleneck”, but could you really explain to us how this scale of friction can be an aspect that limits the scalability of projects so much?

  65. You point out that Radix is the only decentralized network where developers can build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks, but could you really detail how Radix manages to be invulnerable to these attacks when the rest are?

  66. Going through the available documents on the Radix network, I noticed a specialised language used by Radix to create new components called “Scrypto”. It is sated that Scrypto is better suited for defining FSM-based Components, and it’s programming primitives makes it easy for developers to quickly understand. With such advantages, can you briefly elaborate, how Scrypto effectively creates Radix components, what makes it better preferred and adaptable for a programmer’s use, and how will the component model be a better solution in making the Radix network be much more programmable for DeFi and it’s assets?

  67. Radix is one of the biggest projects with a lot of features included like Asset Tokenization, Collateralized Lending, Perpetual Futures, etc. But how these features are better on Radix than on other platforms which also provide the same?

  68. What where some challenges faced by the team from the Project concept to execution and how were able to properly manage and overcome them?

  69. Can you explain how is your Tokenomics Distribution? How many tokens Will be minted ? And How many tokens Will be locked by the team?

  70. A part of the Radix ecosystem, is an initiative called the “GoodFi Alliance”, which is a shared mission towards the target of a 100 million DeFi users, founded by Radix and supported by notable projects like; Chainlink, Bepro, Oneiro, StakeHound and many more. Such initiatives are hugely significant especially with a seemingly volatile and turbulent DeFi space. With supporting a 100 million DeFi users, what critical help and assistance would the GoodFi Alliance provide, how can an investor particular join or get involved, and with such Alliance of notable DeFi projects what is the long-term solution of GoodFi to DeFi’s barriers and setbacks?

  71. You have written on your website that Radix is the only decentralized network where developers will be able to build quickly without the constant threat of exploits and hacks. So what level of coding knowledge we need to develop on Radix and what other things we need?

  72. I read that Radix is going to building an open, interconnected platform, focused on powerful DeFi applications including such as collateralized lending , NFTs etc. Can you tell us more details about this multi featured platform? Collateralized lending & NFTs are synergic protocals that meets common purposes in lot of NFT market place. Will you combine Collateralized lending with your NFTs ? So can users lend using NFTs within ypur platform? And also please give us brief explanation about Radix NFTs such as utilities, uniqueness, their minting process etc.

  73. I find out that with your E-RADIX tokens there will be an allocation for Network Subsidy. So,can you tell us the purpose of this Network Subsidy? How it will be utilize in Radix DLT network? Does this network subsidy also covers investors and community? Thank you

  74. 50% of $RADIX token supply will goes to Network Emission. Can you tell us more about the Network Emission of Radix DLT? How does Network Emission being utilized in your platform? Why does it needs a biggest allocation in your $RADIX token supply? What are the inclusion of this network emission? Thank you

  75. Unlike traditional finance, the power of crypto is fun and easy access to participants from all walks of life. However, there are also serious losses of people hastily and unknowingly. What does RADIX DLT do in attracting newcomers to the crypto world? Do you have any educational images or documents?

What role does this technology play in the construction of Ethereum chains, and how can it be used? Do you intend to integrate multi-chain in the future?

  78. How would you introduce Radix DLT to folks who are unfamiliar with cryptocurrency? Do you have any tutorial videos on your project that we could watch to understand more about it? Could you please provide the essential links so that we may learn more about your platform?

  79. Radix has segregated whitepapers into three different parts economics, consensus, and defi. You have a different whitepaper for each. But reading on economics whitepaper you have founder tokens which will retain 10% of maximum supply and for the community, it’s 12.5% of maximum supply. Why the founder retention % is so high in proportion to the community comparison to the other projects and also you have a separate 2.5%of maximum supply for DEV incentives. What does this dev incentive token purpose for and how will this contribute to the community?

  80. I found there are 2 new development in Radix project about a language specifically for DeFi building called with “Scrypto” And new execution environment called with “Radix Engine”.well you called this are the first one on DeFi and im so curious what are all That about. Could you explain how does the work of “Scrypto” And “Radix engine”? How user possible to get benefit from them?

  81. There are already popular blockchains like Ethereum and Polkadots with mass adoption. What features does Radix has that make it superior to other blockchains? What are the reasons that will make Radix a future-proof decentralized platform? What innovative measures and technology you have developed in your ecosystem which we can understand in layman terms?

  82. FOUNDER TOKENS are retained by Radix DLT Ltd, which has funded and developed the RADIX technology
since 2017 until the present day. So do you have any approximate figures cost of funded till now? What about the partnership and collaboration where many projects are being backed up ventures how are the fundings been raised till now? What major milestones you have achieved till now and what are in the future pipelines?

  83. As I know there are a lot of chain that already exist in crypto world, lets say ETH, BSC, Polkadot, Solano, and other chain, what motivated you to create Radix and what are Radix try to solve issue on blockchain world? As I know, we already have popular chain like ETH, cheap gas and fast chain like BSC or solano, so what Radix have here? And how do you convinced user to choose Radix?

  84. Im already work in crypto world for a long time and there are much problem that crypto industry have. I will say only the top 3, first is user possible to getting hack and scam, second you cant scale DeFi, its only for whale not for small fish, and last sometimes its slow and expensive. How is Radix way to solve this big problem in crypto industry, what do you have?

  85. Olympia was scheduled to launch on June 30th, but in your last Medium article, you informed your community that Olympia was postponed to July 28th. What are the reasons for this, are there any flaws or inaccuracies that will take more time to fix? How did the community react to the news of the launch delay for almost a month?

  86. On issues of regulatory compliance as it affects DeFi especially with subjects bothering on KYC, this action most times create an inherent problem for permissionless promise of distributed ledgers. As a solution to this, the Radix team has created  “Instapass” a fully optional single sign-on KYC system that require just one verification access to every KYC compliant dApp. This solution offers a host of promises and also some skepticism. May I know the full operational features of the Instapass, how reliable is it with customer information and unwarranted third party access, and been a novel technology, what are the limitations to it’s application?

  87. While studying the “Careers” section, I noticed that you hold quarterly summits where you all meet up somewhere in the world and relax during a week of planning, hacking, and festivities. How do you conduct these meetings, are they online and are they tied to specific countries and cities? In addition, you talk about all the Benefits at Radix DLT and what awaits the new members of your team. By offering these opportunities and entertaining summits to job seekers, what are the requirements for each job, and what do you expect from new team members when you welcome them into your “family”?

  88. Is the RDX the only native token of the Radix Mainnet or are there any other tokens that you provided? and do you have a plan to introduce new coins to the radix platform? and can you explain more details about the Easy Ramps?

  89. The DeFi Download covers all things about decentralised finance and crypto so can you explain about that? Can you explain about the security of the platform and why should people choose this platform?
