  1. Incentives are always a good strategy to make each user not only give the best he/she can, but also want to do better every day, in this sense, how does COLONY quantify performance? Do you use an algorithm that allows you to award reputation for skills?

  2. All of us who work with cryptocurrencies are aware of the high fees that Ethereum is demanding on its blockchain, causing people to stop using ETH. Why did you decide to create Colony on the Ethereum blockchain? In what aspects of the project does the high rates affect? Are you planning to adopt another blockchain soon?

  3. When a colony member receives a payment in the colony’s internal token, they also receive reputation for the skills they used and in the domain in which the value was created. So, can you tell us a bit about how reputation works? How does it benefit the members? What kinds of possibilities are given to the member?

  4. The essential structure of the colony revolves around domains and the permissions that accounts may have in them. Can you explain a bit about domains and permissions? What is the relationship between them? What are the utilities of the six different permissions (recovery, root, arbitration, architecture, funding, and administration)?

  5. Can you tell us what went wrong with the initial product of Colony Network back in 2017? And with the launched of “New Colony” what are the benefits and new opportunities for old investors of your project? Have you done a token swapped or an airdrop for investors?

  6. Colony makes it easy for people around the world to build organizations together, online. But is it possible for an organization to be created in Colony for malicious or scam purposes? Do you evaluate the organizations that are created on your platform?

  7. If I’m not mistaken, Colony has “update capability”, which will allow people to use Colony without preventing themselves from using new features as they are added to the network. This implementation works based on the “EtherRouter contract” and the “Resolver contract”. Can you explain to us how these contracts can work together?

  8. I was reading your whitepaper and I came across two terms that I do not know and would like to know. What is kernel space and user space in operating system design? Thanks.

  9. For example, the nature of the adjustment is interval-based which means that prices will always lag slightly with respect to the market, so, given the purpose of the mechanism (putting tokens in circulation, instead of creating a perpetual market maker) ), this is an acceptable trade-off. What is the solution that Colony presents? Is it insertion of arbitration?

  10. Basically Colony benefits by having more tokens entering the market; It is not necessary to capture 100% of the value of the tokens sold, and the limit on the maximum number of tokens sold limits the advantage of any arbitrage. What do they gain in exchange for this, do they trust prices to regulate themselves?

  11. Specifically, Coin Machine takes the following parameters: a target and maximum number of tokens to sell per period, as well as a period duration (ie hour, day), as well as a number of periods to use as a window of average price. Coin Machine then sells up to the maximum number of tokens per period, if they sell in a certain period of time, what is the price of the token based on? How do you adjust the price?

  12. Considering that Colony in the coin machine user interface, specifically, Coin Machine takes the following parameters: a target and maximum number of tokens to sell per period, as well as a period duration (ie hour , day). What mechanism do you implement in the price window to execute the various adjustments?

  13. Coin Machine is a mechanism that sells limited quantities of tokens in fixed price lots, adjusting prices up or down between sale periods based on recent demand. Are the limits strict? On the basis of which sales prices are chosen? What are the actions in the face of market volatility?

  14. Ethereum’s DeFi sector is vibrant and growing, with many projects presenting sophisticated proposals for putting financial services on the blockchain. Among these, the problem of fundraising (selling tokens to support projects) remains perennial, with many ideas (DAICO, continuous organizations, and various types of junction curves and market makers) floating around the ecosystem. Could you explain what the mechanism implemented in Coin Machine consists of?

  15. Based on the technique implemented in the example: FoodDeliveryBikes from the concert economy session, where they state that delivery passengers pay a fee to the application for each delivery, which buys tokens from a token sale curve. What are these rates used for? As the app becomes more popular, where does the token price behave?

  16. Colony tools enable many types of applications that are successful in aligning user incentives with activities that deliver the value of the application. What tools do I need other than those offered by Colony for the emergence and popularity of my application?

  17. If I want my project to prosper, I must carry out several rounds of incentives for the first users with tokens that are easy to obtain. Will the value and quality of use of it be decided by you? How do I make my application become ubiquitous?

  18. Your long term ambition is audacious: Colony will catalyze a ‘Cambrian explosion’ of previously impossible organizational forms. The distinctions between companies, platforms, workers, and users will blur, and new paradigms of occupation and income will emerge. So as your long term ambition is audacious how will you take risk to make it realize? Can you tell us why do you like to use Cambrian explosion in taking actions for this ambition? We are now in a new generation especially with this pandemic that is almost all is virtual, so how will Colony take this ambition or vision to be applied especially to some companies that operated through online due to this pandemic? If ever this ambition will make happen, what possible new paradigm occupation will exist? Thank you

  19. Can you explain more about the Metacolony? How can anyone become part of Metacolony? How does Metacolony connected with Colony? How does Metacolony become essential and important to Colony ecosystem? What positive and negative impact that Metacolony will bring to Colony network? Thank you

  20. It’s detailed on your website that “Every colony needs the Metacolony” and so far I could understand this is a way to create a self-sustainable utility, can you describe the role of this Metacolony and how can the community become a member?

  21. The Colony was built with big efforts and expanded to 13 countries so far, which are these countries? What communities are you targeting to promote this new paradigms of occupations?

  22. Building a great app is difficult, time consuming, and expensive. Does Building on Colony handle all this work? What are their contributions and what should investors provide? Does Colony rely on cross-chain governance?

  23. The concept of internal tokens used to generate distributed reputation as emphasized in your whitepaper states that rewards are only available to accounts that hold both tokens and reputation. What does this mean and can you explain the relationship between BFPs and reputation by colony?

  24. Coin Machine is a mechanism that sells limited amounts of tokens in fixed price lots, adjusting prices up or down between sale periods based on recent demand. What are the principles applied by Colony to achieve self-organization? Is Colony open source and modular?

  25. Colony is inspired by complex adaptive systems such as ant colonies: dynamic networks of agents that react and adapt to stimuli from others and their environment. Do you think this self-organizing mechanism will work together?

  26. Colony makes it possible for you to not even think of what you are doing as “work.” We will only use an application that you like or a game. It will simply be that the better you play this game or use this application, the more you will earn. What would Colony get from this build? How are the profits divided?

  27. Colony long-term ambition is bold: Colony will catalyze a “Cambrian explosion” of previously impossible organizational forms. Will the distinctions between companies, platforms, workers and users still exist?

  28. Most companies today define company rules in legal documents and contracts. Financial transactions, even trivial expenses, require managers and intermediaries. I understand that Colony does not apply this methodology. How does Colony help define and enforce business rules?

  29. What have been the main benefits that the platform obtained after launching Colony v2? there is still much more to climb?

  30. What is the history of Colony and what was the most difficult thing you have faced in the development of this great project?

  31. Colony is fascinating, I adore her, but since my girlfriend is sometimes difficult to understand, what plans do you have in mind to attract a less technical audience?

  32. Observing the versatility of COLONY in the economic and financial market, in the world of sports is it involved? a baseball or soccer team that is using it?

  33. Is the company needed suppliers of equipment, spare parts and personnel, will COLONY have the ability to connect with service companies?

  34. During the development period of COLONY, in terms of security, how has it been? Has the information of the companies been compromised? Do they maintain a good reputation?

  35. Could you give a summary or history of COLONY, how were its first steps, which companies were associated to take it to the current position of honor?

  36. COLONY with its organizational power and serving various fields of service, is there a government or country that uses it as the main organizer?

  37. It is necessary for the company to make an evaluation involving planning, production, marketing and I decide to use COLONY as an organizer, what steps should I follow for your contract?

  38. There is little information on their website about the short, medium and long term plans within Colony. My question is, do you plan to integrate a program plan with Colony’s possible goals and objectives for this and the next few years? In which the users can be aware of all the updates and possible new developments that will occur?

  39. Colony released their new version recently (Colony v2), but they mentioned that it will be a “soft release”, which shows that it is an early beta version, so there will be bugs and a variety of UX quirks. So, as of today, you have already managed to solve several issues within this version ? was this release a success ? Do you plan to release a new version without existing bugs and quirks?

  40. Within the “Toolkit” or features of Colony I did not find anything about its security and prevention of cyber-attacks or possible hacks. But I could see that something that generates reliability is that Colony is built on Ethereum, but is this enough? What is the security and hacks prevention system they use? If their goal is to create organizations together, online. Is it not possible for one of these organizations to be hacked ?

  41. What is the philosophy behind the name of Colony? I saw on your twitter that you mentioned about ant as a part of a colony. What is the relation between ant and blockchain philosophy?

  42. What is Colony strategy that involving community? Does Colony teams create DAO’s infrastructure themselves? How does it go so far?

  43. Colony is inspired by complex adaptive systems like ANTS colonies, how do you apply that concept to your methods and products?

  44. I read on your vision that Colony’s long term ambition is catalyze a “Cambian Explosion” of previously organizational forms, I’m very curious about the meaning of this ambition, can you explain what does it mean and how are you planning to achieve it?

  45. Can you give us examples of organizations that Colony Network’s service might be useful? And how many organizations took an interest on building their own colony?

  46. Every colony has its own ERC20-compatible ‘internal token’. Is it automatically created when building a colony? Who will provide funds for this tokens, is it Colony Network or the organization that owns it?

  47. Colony Network is an ETH-based protocol for creating and operating Internet Organi-
zations and community is important for your project. So are there any incentives or benefit that Colony offer to community? What did you expect from your community?

  48. Many purchasers prefer to be Anone, so why do you ask purchaser for KYC to participate in a Coin Machine sale? What is the advantages here for purchaser?

  49. 1. Reading in your whitepaper about governance, made me think about as Franco Folini(an eCommerce leader in the UK) like to say ”building a reputation takes years and a lot of hard work, the benefits of all that work are not always evident in the short term, but it’s a capital that your brand is building that eventually will start to return a significant interest.” That being said, what are the advantages of Reputation in Colony’s governance mechanism? Does it mean that some members will have more influence in the decision process during the time of involvement in the project?

  50. I read from your site that Colony’s first governance module lets colonies use new system “Lazy consensus”. Can you explain how does that consensus work for vote system? If possible pls also give with an example so we can understand better

  51. My question is about voting without voting mechanism.
How long the delay period? Is it constant amount of time, or related to some factors? How others know about voting to object or to not object about something like “Pay Alice 100 xDai”?

  52. 2. As I read in your whitepaper, the basic payment primitive of a colony is the ‘expenditure’. Expenditures are used to transfer funds out of a colony to any Ethereum account. But as I read more about it, I get quite confused about its semnification. Can you please explain a bit what’s the expenditure properties? Thanks.

  53. The last article on your Medium page was posted on July 3, 2019. Why did you refuse to update the Medium? How old is your project, how did you get through 2020?

  54. On your blog, you will release the 1st DAO governance modules for your colonies. But usually DAO voting system was being manipulated by user who hold much token which mean have great power in voting and give unfair condition for small investor. How colony tries to manage this kind of problem using your 1st modules?

  55. I know that Colony will launching public sale for your token, but I’m just curious what are the use of Colony token for an internet organization DAO project like Colony? Can you describe it?

  56. 3. I read on your website about your contract that in addition, Colony’s Token contract introduces the idea of ‘locking’ — tokens being nontransferrable until a “one-way boolean flag is flipped, which is useful for colonies which want more control over how and when their tokens can be liquidated and exchanged”. Are you kind to relate what properly does it mean in terms easier for a newbie who wants to join to your project and how does it is going to work?

  57. Coin Machine takes the following parameters: a target and maximum number of tokens to sell per period, period length, as well as a number of periods to use as a price averaging window. How often is the information updated and does the token price always match the market price?

  58. Your Blog has a link to the Ghost app. Do you use it in your work? Could you tell us more about what this application is?
