I originally entered cryptocurrency back in 2013\/2014 (save for mining some bitcoin on a very old GPU..), and have been maintained a massive interest in cryptocurrency – and in particular, services\/utility development for crypto ever since. My largest project around that time was with working on the original Dogecoin codebase, leading one of the first major patches that hit the community. I worked directly with the DigiByte team, and we implemented the gravity well algorithm into the 1.6 client. This was an intentional hard fork on the network which was targeted towards mitigating the negative effect that multipools were having on the coin. After launch, we saw our market cap jump around 25% – and of course, we all know the story of Dogecoin from there 😁 Outside of that, I worked with the community as a moderator on r\/dogecoin, continued to contribute towards the codebase development, and built additional services such as voltmodded ASICs for community use, and the likes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7 years on, I’ve still maintained a love\nfor crypto (and of course, for doge!), and for development services; albeit,\nwith a little more grey hair, and a lot more professional\/industry-level\nexperience behind me 😁 <\/p>\n\n\n\n And apologies, I’ll try keep my answers a\nlittle shorter so we don’t have quite as much dead air and sticker time between\nquestions 😂<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gold\nRocket | Satoshi Club: <\/strong>What is the essence of your\nproject? Experienced members are good for\nsecurity and this is important. But while checking the smart contract audit\nI\u2019ve seen that the smart contract is audited by War on Rugs. Don\u2019t you think it\nwould be good to make multi audits and being audited by known firms like\nCertik? Do you think that\u2019s enough for being sure that your smart contract is\nsecure? And of\ncourse, our CEX partners have additionally reviewed our contracts to ensure\nboth their safety, and their trader’s safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is a great point from alptrader –\nsecurity audits are super important for all coins, especially in this very\nhectic bull-run where new coins are almost appearing by the second. Nowadays, blockchain based games are springing up daily\nwithout a specific direction as some projects only offer gaming into blockchain\nintegration. So, what will be special about Dogira Native Blockchain Games?\nWhat type of games are you proposing\/introducing and how possible will it be\nfor you to offer blockchain into gaming as a reward rather than a mere native\nintegration? What type of immutable experience do you think Dogira\nblockchain-driven games will offer to those interested in your gamified tokens\nas well as core gamers?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Eoghan:\n<\/strong>Another great question – and yep, that’s been one\nof my own concerns with a lot of projects springing up lately. They talk about\nenhancing gaming experiences, without really giving any clue as to what they’re\nlooking to do with their projects! And it’s something our team has extensively\nspoken about internally \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, the reality is that the sky is the\nlimit for blockchain gaming – pending you’ve got your foundations in place. One\nof our major goals across the upcoming year is to develop an SDK which all\ndevelopers can take advantage of, and easily allow them to integrate\nblockchain-specific functionality into their game. From something as simple as\nauthentication via wallet signature, to using Dogira as the in-game currency\nfor your game – stretching into far more advanced stuff such as implementing\nverified anti-cheat technology, we want to get this into the hands of ALL\ndevelopers, not just ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A big goal for us is seeing games integrate\nwith cryptocurrency seamlessly – and utilise the full power of the blockchain\nin specialised scenarios.
