Someone wishes to\ndeposit their BTC and receive eBTC on the ethereum network on the other end .the BTC is\nthen held in custody&#8230;and eBTC is minted&#8230;..so there is always 1:1 peg for\neach BTC:eBTC. there is no pre-minting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s\nM. | Satoshi Club: <\/strong>What about the fees? Yes, so those are the\nonly two main fees to be concerned about&#8230;and of course the gas fees. How is\n$eBTC expected to react to fluctuations in $BTC price and how is the supply peg\naffected? Actually, for bitcoin holders, it does not\nmatter what the actual price is, it just matters that you can redeem it for 1\nBTC at any time. Here is a diagram showing how the\nkeeper network works&#8230;and why it is secure. Indeed&#8230;compared to\nsome centralized pegged BTC, the risk is so much higher for those<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunny@DeCus:\n<\/strong>because the collateral of eBTC is BTC, not ETH(like\ntBTC) or system tokens(like renBTC). eBTC uses a system of &#8216;Custodian Network&#8217; to\naccomplish the tokenization of bitcoin. When you said other Blockchain\nassest, did you mean all blockchain assest including NFT, Stablecoins? You\ncreated a tokenized Bitcoin \u201ceBTC\u201d on ethereum network. Does that mean that the\nbridge will be a link between \u201coriginal bitcoin on bitcoin network\u201d and\n\u201cbitcoin on other blockchain networks\u201d? or the tokenized coins on bitcoin\nnetwork?
