I am Justin Kellison. I have been a contributor in the\ncrypto industry for around 4 years now, and have worked with few multi-million\ndollar DeFi projects. I have mostly worked on the marketing front and have\ncreated exposure and content for the projects I have managed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through my network i got in touch with Raze Network\nand its team, and we both liked each other’s work and thus i was onboarded in\nRAZE team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will be leading the marketing front, and my focus\nhere will be on growing and strengthening the RAZE community, and create ELI5\ncontent for them. The one most asked for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Raze Network is a second-layer protocol that will\nprovide cross-chain payment privacy for the entire DeFi stack of the Polkadot\necosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the Zether framework we use was designed to\nsupport the Ethereum account model, the Raze contract will support both tokens\nissued in the Polkadot ecosystem such as DOT & Kusama as well as ERC-20\ncross-chain private payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through our RAZEVM integration, we will be able to\nconnect to any DeFi or Web3.0 product, and then mint privacy tokens in 1:1\nratio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using zero-knowledge algorithms, the identities of\ninvolved parties, balance and transaction amount will be hidden, thus\nprotecting privacy to the fullest extend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it true that you are compatible with all blockchain\necosystems?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you achieve this? All the same, this is due to\ncompatibility, gas prices, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So not only Polkadot, but you will be able to connect\nto dApps built on Ethereum (for example Uniswap, Aave, Compound etc) and use\ntheir services in a completely anonymised manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus we will also be working on cross-chain bridges in\nfuture, which will map other chain tokens on Polkadot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus increasing Polkadot ecosystem liquidity and\ngiving access to Polkadot DeFi ecosystem too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

zkSNARKs\/Zero-Knowledger proof technology comes with\nmodules which helps in anonymising the transaction amount, balance, and also\nthe identities of parties involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be implementing this tech in substrate\nsmart-contracts to achieve this for Raze Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lock module allows an account owner to lock the\naccount while the unlock module allows the owner to unlock the account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These modules are required to access all DeFi\nfunctionalities where locking\/staking of funds is required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5 modules together makes all transactions\nanonymous and also helps in accessing all DeFi services in an\nanonymous\/untraceable manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These pools will be completely anonymous as zkSNARKs\nalgorithms will be used, and the liquidity reward sent will be in RAZE token\nwhich will be anonymous in itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This process of earning tokens (in a completely\nanonymised manner) by providing liquidity is known as anonymous mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The public key is the identifier of the Raze account,\nand private key gives access to the funds stored in that account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Privacy is a fundamental right, and if want crypto\nadoption then you can’t make all your transactions public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it is related to business or it is personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You won’t like competitors\/others to see your\nsensitive transactions on blockchain, as it is public and anyone can put your\naddress in explorer and see all your past in one go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously illegal activities are not recommended or\nencouraged, but protocols can be improved to deal with such situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are still in experimental stage of crypto. We have\na long journey yet to cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, fiat is even less secure when it comes to\nmoney-laundering. Blockchain is the future. But as said above, we will surely\ncomply with the new regulations or tech which makes private transactions much\nmore secure for such cases. Happy to work on that front!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Reading on your Medium, I found out\nyour MOTTO: \u201dIf no privacy, then what is the point?\u201d. I totally agree with you\nbecause in order to this, arguing that you don\u2019t care about privacy because you\nhave nothing to hide is no different than saying you don\u2019t care about free\nspeech because you have nothing to say. But my question is \u2013 to counter that,\nwhat\u2019s the technical solution Raze Network aims to offer to the public in order\nto get the privacy dilemma solved? The closest product to the Raze Network of\nthe Polkadot ecosystem is the Manta Network, which is a privacy-preserving DEX\nsystem, but in which way your proposal differs from theirs?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus your privacy is completely protected and service\ndesired is also fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we can connect to any dApp or Web3 product (whether\non Polkadot or Ethereum), our target market is huge and scope is high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are not limited to just one product this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus Raze network does not use any trusted set-up\nusually used in projects implementing zkSNARKs technology, which is centralised\nand requires a trust-ceremony to occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our devs have deep knowledge of\nzkSNARKs algorithms, and have already implemented it on Ethereum before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pretty confident on it, but\nobviously we will get our code audited from Certik, one of the best audit\nfirm,  to built more trust in our code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We realized that many other twitter\naccounts were suspended for some reason, and we are waiting for ours to back\nonline. Usually it takes 7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had to delay some good\nannouncements, but now we are going with how it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But meanwhile for a backup, we have recently\ncreated another twitter account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raze network operates in the DeFi\necosystem and can anonymise any transaction, thus will be very helpful for DeFi\nusers if they don’t want to go through Cex wallets again and again to anonymize\ntheir identity if leaked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or if they don’t some sensitive\ntransactions to be made public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the NFTs, as NFTs are created\nusing smart contracts too, Raze Network can also anonymise any NFT\ntransactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is necessary for cases like\nbuying tokenizing a real estate as an NFT. You won’t like people to see your\nnewly bought home address for security and personal reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very well-known people have joined\nRAZE Network after doing their due-diligence, and will help in making RAZE\nNetwork a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is something which will be used\nin almost all areas in the world, as the world realises how important privacy\nis. Just a matter of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
