Welcome to another episode of our AMA\nseries. Today we are glad to tell you about the AMA session with our friends\nfrom Yarloo<\/a>, a gaming platform\nfull of products using NFT and DeFi technology as well as our very own RST. The AMA took place on October 30 and our\nguests was Ham Sparrow \u2013 CEO & Founder of Yarloo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total reward pool was 500$ and was\ndivided into three parts. In this AMA Recap we will try to summarize some of\nthe most interesting points for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>I\nwas first introduced to crypto back in 2017 as a writer for other crypto\ncompanies that apparently don’t exist anymore, haha – but then I later got\npromoted in a marketing agency I’ve been working for in the U.S and became\nDirector of Operations, which enabled me to learn so much about project\nmanagement, properly understanding the fundamentals of marketing and how to\nproperly captivate an audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is when I first entered crypto with my first project,\nmemeunity, in January of 2021 and now Yarloo! Both companies are under\nownership of a holding company known as Blkbirds Collective, which I’ll share\nmore about later on in the future as soon as its foundation and paperwork is\nready. But yeah – I mainly come from a marketing\/operations background, and\nthat’s where I’m at now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9s M. | Satoshi\nClub: <\/strong>Great background, so let’s talk about Yarloo, in a nutshell what is\nYarloo?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>Yarloo’s\na company that builds P2E and NFT-based video games within an ecosystem\ndesigned to sustain bear markets. Our first game is Pirateers, a trading card\ngame which utilizes different versions of NFTs that can be fused together\n(burned) to upgrade into a much more powerful and rarer version. Our ecosystem\nis powerful thanks to a feature we call RST, or Revenue Sharing Token – which\nis basically the distribution of 30% of our net profits over 5 pillars that\nwill sustain our project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RST is allocated towards the following pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Seed & Private Investors<\/li>
  2. Holders<\/li>
  3. Buybacks & Burns <\/li>
  4. LP Providers<\/li>
  5. P2E Pool<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>They\nwill receive an allocation of the company’s profits that is proportional to how\nmuch they hold and for how long. Selling will always result in RST giving you\nless profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nFirst seasonal implementation for TCG with proposed additional improvements to\ncoffers (Swaps\/New Networks). Now could you please tell us enthusiasts from the\nabove, when your first CEX Listing will be out in this Q 4 2021 if it has not\nyet taking into cognizance the fact there are just few more days left in Q 4.\n2021? And could also speak to us enthusiasts more about your proposed NFTShore\nLaunch and the distinction between $ YARL and NFTShore? Thanks.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>We’re\ndiscussing with a very well-known CEX at the moment the potential of listing\nYARL, and our advisors\/partners are speeding up the process. We estimate that\nthe CEX will list either by late Nov or early Dec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    NFTShore is essentially an NFT marketplace that commissions\n1.5% from all sales there, and it has a special API hooked to it which we will\nuse to implement in any game we create for easy access and synchronization\nbetween our NFTs everywhere so that everyone can use it regardless of whether\nthey’re playing one of our games or just browsing the marketplace itself\ndirectly. YARL will play a key element there as it will be enabling users to\nlist certain items, quantities, and give discount privileges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>Why,\nthank you! We take pride in this as it’s goofy but also wholesome at the same\ntime, and btw, it will tie in to the lore of the game we’re building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our team’s international, with people who had been in this\nspace since 2012, coming from all backgrounds, nationalities, and experiences.\nAs of now, there are 13 of us, but we’re growing by the day, and I think there\nwill be 20 crew members aboard the Yarloo ship sooner than later, hah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Andr\u00e9s M. | Satoshi\nClub: <\/strong>Will users have to pass any kind of KYC to use the marketplace? Btw\nhow do you verify the authenticity of the NFTs?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>Because\nNFTShore is a niche marketplace unlike Opensea, meaning we won’t be trying to\nhave it as an “open market” – it will be solely to serve our\necosystem, and we can verify the NFTs because every single NFT there will have\nhad to be minted directly through our engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can slide over our photos and you can see our\nLinkedIn and Github accounts, lol – and myself as CEO have gone public just a\nweek ago, and so did my partner.     I\u2019ve been following\nYarloo since August this year and was surprised to discover that the nature of\nyour project have changed. Initially, Yarloo was supposed to be a decentralized\nbetting platform where users can play casino games and gamble. However, today I\ncan see that Yarloo transitioned from a betting platform into a blockchain card\ngame platform. What was the reason behind the transition of your project\u2019s\nnature? Were the initial goal and roadmap from the previous version of Yarloo\nare still visible today?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>The\nreason behind the transition was purely legal. There were too many hiccups that\nmay have caused the company to fail, so we decided to pivot in the last minute.\nAnd it wasn’t a major shift since we still use our games based on the same\nstructure, but have taken away the lottery aspect and repurposed our products\nto serve a P2E system instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Yarloo introduced a\ncard system with 5 types of cards ranked as: petty, bronze, silver, gold and\nsapphire. Logically the holders of sapphire cards should have more benefits\nwithin the project, please specify what are they? Is it also possible to\ncollect all 5 cards together? Can these cards be bought or sold on your\nmarketplace? Thank you!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>Holders\nof sapphire cards don’t have any benefits, that is false – but holding a\nsapphire is beneficial in terms of its value. It is more powerful gameplay-wise\nand is worth more money if they’d like to sell it\/trade it. And you can\ncertainly collect all 5 tiers if you wish to. They will be tradable on our\nNFTShore later on and users can do it themselves. We’ll also offer NFT Booster\nPack sales through INOs which will enable users to collect cards early on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Andr\u00e9s M. | Satoshi\nClub: <\/strong>What are the usecases of each card? Or they are only for collection?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>They\ncan be used solo or as part of a collection, that is 100% up to the users\nthemselves. And the main use-case will be in our trading card game, similar to\nHearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Gwent, etc. They’re purely gameplay-based. Another\nuse-case is if someone wishes to trade\/sell them via our marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here’s an example of a sapphire card called Baba Yaga from\nour Voodoo Card Pack. It has 10 HP, 5 ATTACK and a unique passive as\nhighlighted in the description. It’s an extremely powerful card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    $ YARL tokens in\nPolygon and BSC, what is the Yarloo administration based on when choosing\nwallets? Are you planning to partner with other wallets? Can you tell me why\nyou choose these networks initially Polygon and BSC? Are you planning to\nintegrate other blockchains as well in the future? Will you see a pre-sale of\nthe $ YARL token soon if yes, what would be the minimum amount we must have to\nbuy? How many $ YARL tokens are allocated for opening?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>I’m not sure about partnering with a wallet…\nquestion isn’t clear here, but we chose BSC and Poly because they’re the most\nuser-friendly in terms of TXINs paid, and they can be scaled and sustained in\nour games and ecosystem. We do plan to integrate SOLANA and CARDANO later on, as\nwell as ETH depending on how well it performs and if it starts decreasing the\nfees a bit. – As for presale, we already sold out all our funding rounds and\nare way beyond this point atm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Andr\u00e9s M. | Satoshi Club: <\/strong>Great answer. I think we can talk about\nyour wallet, how many coins are supported and which benefits it provides?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>All BEP-20 and ERC-20 tokens will be supported, and we\nwill have staking options for YARL and can onboard staking for other companies\nas well if they wish to partner with us for this solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Andr\u00e9s M. | Satoshi Club: <\/strong>Any sneak peek about the APR of the\nstaking program?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>So far they can get up to 80% – but we’re still\nchecking if we could increase that, all boils down to our scalability and\nreserves!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a way of incentivizing and promoting community engagement, Yarloo\ncurrently runs a Meme Contest which is its first in a series of planned\ncommunity events. Can you carefully provide us with an expansive detail on this\ncontest, how can we join in and what are the basic requirements? I also noticed\nthat the prize ranges from monetary rewards to unique NFT cards. How can\nparticipants therefore increase their winning chances? Also, what other social\ncontests and community event does Yarloo plan to rollout in the coming months,\nand what are your plans to grow your community of users?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>Regarding the contest, it would be best to check back\nin @yarloochat as our CMO was the sole organizer of the entire event and I\nunfortunately didn’t manage to take a look at all the details surrounding it,\nso not the best person to ask, hah! However, we do plan to start more events\nfor the community, and giving incentives for people to join our Crypto Sailors\nspecial program for those who help bring value to our community and company and\nhelp us push forward. We’ll likely hold a weekly contest quite soon as well to\nkeep everyone engaged!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you give a brief description in a nutshell about this IDO? How many\nparticipants were interacting in Your IDO on the three of Launchpads? How will\nthe vesting schedule take place? How much did you fund through the IDO event\nfrom all of Launchpads & What will you do with that funds? Do you use those\nfunds for marketing?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>The\nIDOs was sold out fairly quickly, thankfully. We had interactions over 1\nmillion participants who wanted to whitelist. We received $350,000 from the IDO\nsale. These funds in particular are being used for liquidity and CEX listings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>You\nwill need Coffers because it ties in to our ecosystem and will be updated to\nsupport NFT farming, and extra NFT rewards for staking, which would not be\npossible if we were to use normal wallets, etc. As for Chests of Fortune, it is\na lootbox system where you can buy (or earn) chests that give you NFTs, or\nYARL, or extra keys!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ham Sparrow: <\/strong>The\nmax you will have to pay for a booster pack will be $100 – and we will make\nsure to have accessible cards and gameplay elements without them being too\nexpensive.
