Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:<\/strong> Sure, I’m one of the 3 co-founders of Orion Money.\nLittle background on myself, I started my journey with crypto back in 2014, the\ntime when I first came across bitcoin while doing deep dive into monetary\npolicies, gold investing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> You were in the space very early then 😉<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:<\/strong> Over last 7 years I invested in different projects\nand kept a close eye on entire industry and how it evolved. I experienced most\nof crypto bull and bear runs and saw how in recent years stablecoins market\nstarted to grow and how more and more investors started to diversify their\nportfolio into stablecoins. I came across Terra back in 2019 and if you don’t\nknow anything about Terra just shortly it’s the only decentralized algo\nstablecoins blockchain with Luna being the only asset that captures value the\ngrowth of stablecoins market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I realized that Terra\nhas something that no other blockchain have. Back then there was no community\nfor Terra, there was just one discord channel so I decided to join core\ncommunity and help grow it from day one. Today i’m proud to say we have one of\nthe largest and most passionate community in the space<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I invested and was part\nof every project that launched on Terra from day 1 and came across Orion Money\nwhen Vol and Kos ( other 2 co-founders ) submitted this basic but pretty\nprofound idea to hackathon, to bring anchor protocol high stable yields to\nother blockchains, starting from ethereum and enable easy spending of\nstablecoins in the real world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I immediately joined\nthe team in first week of hackathon, we ended up winning the hackathon and we\nwent full speed on developement. We’ve launched our first initial MVP version\nof Orion Saver app.orion.money during the hackathon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> early bird😁 When did you buy your first\nbitcoin and when did you sell it? 😅<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:<\/strong> little feedback on other two co-founders, they’ve\nbuilt big e-commerce analytics business in the real world, grew from 3 founders\nto 300+ employees out of which 75+ were hardcore developers and engineers.\nTheir customers were Amazon, Walmart, Coca-Cola + 150+ large worldwide brands,\nthey sold the company last year to private equity firm and took some break,\nlooked what else to do in their life long term ( 10+ years ). They came across\nTerra and that’s where our paths crossed 😁<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:<\/strong> back in 2014, I was long term gold investors so\nwhen I read the article that bitcoin is better than gold I got pretty curious.\nStill hold some of it from back than<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam I am 🌖 | Orion Money:<\/strong> currently we have 9 developers on the team, two\ncommercial co-founders ( me and Vol ) and one designer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so total 12 but having\nlarge network of developers from previous startup allows us to scale very quick<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we are soon going to\nincrease them to 15% in preparation for our multi tier staking levels launch,\nwhere you will be able to earn up to 25% on your stablecoins incentivized by\nOrion token<\/p>\n\n\n\n
