How did you get to be involved in crypto &amp; Anatha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nshall we?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I bought my first BTC\nback when it was 14 cents and have been a die hard member of the larger crypto\ncommunity since about 2013. I was working in finance when BTC first emerged and\na few of the guys in our IT department had mentioned it. We explored using our\noffice&#8217;s rigs to mine it but found it was more cost effective just to buy some.\nMy office lost interest almost immediately and so I ended up with a few hundred\nBTC from those early experiments but it wasn\u2019t until 2013 that I realized just\nhow important the technologies that made BTC possible were to civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the 2008 crash\ncreated BTC, it also created in me the passion to see these solutions emerge\nand to make sure that in the future, no one should have to have their lives\ndestroyed because a few bankers in a darkened room decided they wanted to\nextract value from the global marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gold\nRocket | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> Tell us please about your position\nin&nbsp; Anatha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nAs CEO &amp; Founder it&#8217;s my job to make sure we stay on track. Now our usual development cycle is more like 3-6 months but we\nare also tackling some very big endeavors in DeFi and Social which I expect to\ntake a full 12 months now that they are scoped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gold\nRocket | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> Also we would like to know more\nabout your team. Who is on the project team core?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nyeah, I actually completely gave up the idea of a family so that I could serve\nmy lifes purpose. Anatha is an extension of that, so I do treat it like my\nchild and the team like my tribe, responsible for raising out little golden\nchild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anatha is short for\nAnathapindika. He was the first chief lay disciple of the Buddha. He was also a\nmaster entrepreneur who built businesses that were so beneficial to everyone\naround them that its said he achieved a certain degree of enlightenment from\nhis business practices. So he&#8217;s my patron saint and someone I look to for\ninspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Very espiritual, we\nlove it &#x1f603;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nMy team is actually big enough now where I don&#8217;t even get to see everyone on a\nregular basis, since there are so many pods to keep track of but we have a lot\nof overlap with the Cosmos \/ Solana development communities, whereas some of my\ntop guys have won hackathons in Solana not too long ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joe and Vidor are\nprobably the two MVPs on the development team but there are more and more great\ncoders emerging everyday now. Please\ntell us why you felt the need to create your own network instead of creating a\ndapp on one of the existing blockchains? Amount of effort must\u2019ve been\nsubstantially bigger I bet. Also I\u2019d like to ask why the choice of\nCosmos\/Tendermint instead of other more popular chains with higher userbase?\nAre there any specific features that only Cosmos could provide to Anatha dev\nteam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thank\nyou!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nIt was a LOT harder but in order to get the economic outcomes we wanted,\nspecifically for the token emissions, transactions fees, and all gas costs to\ngo back to the end user it required us to be at the protocol level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These days I&#8217;m leaning\nmore and more towards layer 2 solutions for most of what we need but we had to\nstart by designing a layer 1 that would give us what we need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are network agnostic\nthough and have plans to build some layer 1s on Solana and Ethereum when\nappropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To me, the entire\nindustry is just one big metasystem. Currently the big clients we have on the hook are the Indonesian\ngovernment for their new carbon credits program (which we are turning into a\ncrypto that also feeds back value into Anatha&#8217;s Torus) and a number of NFT\npartners that want their own marketplace (think pro-sports memorabilia). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be a lot of work\nsometimes but the way we are designing our systems, every new enterprise client\nis another node in the Anatha ecosystem which in turn supports the rest of the\necosystem (a network of networks, vs a single hub).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you have any\nprojects in the space that you think deserve to exist, we are more than happy\nto help provided it seems congruent and in alignment with our larger\nobjectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s\nM. | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> Could you tell us about those partners?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nCurrently Project Anatha is finishing up it&#8217;s stargate update which will allow\nus to plug into all the new AMMs that came out this year (Osmosis and Gravity\nto start). After that it will open the door for us to integrate smart contract\nissuance but we also plan to launch an interoperable NFT platform using Solana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s\nM. | Satoshi Club:<\/strong>&nbsp; Congratulations&#x1f44f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nWell the biggest and most important one is the Indonesian Government. I&#8217;m very\nlucky in the head of my international relations, Carl Maybin, built most of his\ncareer installing some of the earliest telecommunications networks in South\nEast Asia, so his contact list there is VERY strong. He&#8217;s the one who opens\ndoors for me in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our partners there, a\ngroup called Bakri, have the licensing for over 20mil hectares of land that is\nideally suited for carbon credits. They had actually already run a test that\ndidn&#8217;t go well, so we are coming in to improve their efficiency by making a\ndigital currency that is backed 1:1 with a fully verified carbon credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carbon Credits\ncurrently sell in closed markets for roughly 10 USD but the futures markets\nhave them closer to 50 USD. At either price the number of credits we can\nproduce on the land in Indonesia would make us easily one of the biggest most\nwell funded projects in the industry. Is this goal is for long-term goal? Thank you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nWell our goals might sound really lofty or ephemeral at first glance but they\nare actually really pragmatic.&nbsp; Our\nprimary objective is to create no less than 2 dollars in value a day per user.\nIf we can sustain that level (or exceed it) then we can say we have created a\ncure for extreme poverty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine if solving poverty\nwas as simple as getting people to install on app an a phone or in the worst\ncase scenarios giving out an older generation phone with free internet access\n(which we can provide) that then becomes a lifeline for every user. We are\nactually a LOT closer to our goal than most people realize I suspect as\ndepending on when you joined some users&nbsp;\nare averaging over 6 dollars a day already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we scale we of\ncourse need to continually unlock more value but thanks to metcalfs law adding\nnew users IS adding more value in most cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, having\nveterans on the team from companies like Adobe and Apple really help Anatha\nstay coherent as a brand while I can focus my mental energy on the bigger\npicture. While Anatha started as an idea in my head I can&#8217;t take credit for\nwhat its become without mentioning Daniel Coffeen and Michael Chichi who lead\nthe branding and design departments. Without them Anatha would be akin to a\nsoul with no body, a good idea but just that, an idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s\nM. | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> It sound like a great focus, could you\nshare us your roadmap? Looking beyond that we are also launching an NFT issuance\nplatform, an Anatha based Omni-AMM that will be compatible with multiple\necosystems at once, and a complete chat\/social system that allows you to share\ncontent in a tokenized environment (imagine owning your\nfacebook\/reddit\/instagram\/etc accounts the same way you own a crypto account\nand you will start to get the idea).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nSuffice to say we&#8217;ve got a lot of spinning plates but our team is big enough\nnow to handle it just fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s\nM. | Satoshi Club:<\/strong> Thanks for sharing, our next question\nis about the Q4 would your roadmap, let&#8217;s talk more about it&#x1f603;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Q4 from Telegram User\n@Asela1112 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In\nQ4-2021 Roadmap, You have decided to integrate a DeFi investment on UNISWAP V2\n&amp; Pool Together. Can you give us a sneak peek about this Upcoming event?\nWhy won\u2019t Anatha Platform focus on Uniswap V3 instead of Uniswap V2 since\nUniswap V3 have more Functionalities than Uniswap V2? So Will Users be able to\ninvest $ANATHA tokens directly on Uniswap V2 &amp; Pool Together DeFi platforms\nafter this event? But the main issue of the investment platforms that you have\nselected, is the high gas fees since they are operated on Ethereum blockchain.\nSo How do you manage this issue smoothly? Don\u2019t you have an idea to launch this\nevent on Binance platform also?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatha\nOne:<\/strong>\nHi we did that back in Oct 2020, while our Uniswap listing has been very\nimportant to us we have since added a BHEX listing and plan to add many more in\nthe coming months. We plan to integrate pools on Osmosis and Gravity while we\nalso have multiple applications with CEXs like Gate.io underway now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also buy ANATHA\ntokens directly from the network using a debit card or crypto but we understand\nthe importance of having as many channels as possible.
