I became a\nmechanical engineer and got hired at a very early age by one of the largest oil\ncompanies in the world, there I understood the value of natural resources and\nhow we humans don&#8217;t care about the environmental impact that we live as the\nwhole industry is super dirty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, I worked at\nseveral startups that were using the new oil (data) for also exploiting humans.\nWhen I realized that this was happening, I decided to join the crypto movement\nand wanted to enable anyone to invest in any type of asset, but I was very\nnaive as I didn&#8217;t know that investment vehicles have a lot of regulations and\nthat&#8217;s when I decided to join the DAO movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been member and\neven founding member of multiple DAOs (MetaCartel, TheLAO, Inverse.Finance,\nAPI3) and last year after ETHCC, I got covid and I realized that many\ncommunities needed help and I decided to launch an initiative called\nFightPandemics.com for helping connect those in need of help with those who can\nprovide help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 1800 people from\nall over the world contributed time and skills to the project and the idea was\nto create a social DAO where the investment was the human and social\ncontribution, but must people didn&#8217;t understand it (99% weren&#8217;t crypto native)\nand that&#8217;s why when we decided to bring financial capital to the equation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that&#8217;s how DoinGud\ncame to life \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D.\n| Satoshi Club:<\/strong> very nice story about origin of the\nproject &#x1f60a;&#x1f44d;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>so what are you trying\nto achieve and solve with the help of DoinGud?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adrien\n| DoinGud:<\/strong> My name is Adrien, at DoinGud I am head of comms\nfor crypto-natives. The group quickly gained many active\nusers and received $500K in sponsorship funds, and attracted additional\ndonations. What made you decide to apply and venture crypto and NFT into your\nprevious group to create the now we know \u201cDoinGud\u201d? Was the vision and mission\nof FightPandemics similar and can still be seen into what DoinGud intends to\ndo?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ManuAlzuru&#x1f951;\n| DoinGud| API3: <\/strong>well the idea is to not lock creators,\ncollectors or anyone into one blockchain. Currently,\nEthereum with its high gas prices, it&#8217;s leaving a lot of people out that can&#8217;t\nafford those prices and that&#8217;s why we are also starting with a polygon\nintegration. We understand that creators want to be more inclusive and have\ndifferent price models for their audiences. With Polygon the prices could\npotentially be a few bucks and still make sense as the transaction cost are\nvery low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our main goal when it\ncomes to choosing the blockchain, it&#8217;s to actually let the collectors decide\nwhere they want their assets to live in. We are starting with Polygon and then\nEthereum and&nbsp; other Ethereum Virtual\nMachine compatible chains, but our intention is to become interoperable across\nmany different chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adrien\n| DoinGud:<\/strong> The whole crypto ecosystem is transitioning to a\nmore \u201copen user experience\u201d where users are the ones choosing what they want to\nbuy, where from and where to store the items they buy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEXs first gave the\npower to users to list any token. Within DoinGud, creators make an statement and a pledge to\nhumanity by allocating a percentage of their creations to social causes that\nthey care about. Initially, the creators are going to be onboarded manually but\nonce the platform is stable anyone can join and be a creator because we all\nare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creators at the same\ntime can collaborate and create automated splits so when their assets get sold,\nthere will be funds streamed to the social causes of the creators choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, our\ninfrastructure will be able to be used without having any blockchain experience\n(using their email to sign up and FIAT to pay) or for crypto OGs with metamask\nor many other blockchain wallets. We plan to support EVM compatible blockchains, our main\ngoal is actually to have an interoperable marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt; what you are doing\nto expand the possibilities of commerce for your users?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our community is very\nvaried and diverse. We believe that it is one of the aspects in which DoinGud\nhas an edge. The NFT space still has a lot of room to grow in non-english\nterritories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also tapping\ninto many other verticals where no-one is.
