Announced in April 2021, Trustpad is a permissionless,\nmulti-chain, fundraising platform for crypto projects that aims to kickstart\ntheir launch in the space via IDO capital raising, while guaranteeing exclusive\naccess and prime blockchain security to early projects investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this could be considered TrustPad\u2019s portrayal in a very\nconcise, nutshell-like fashion, that wouldn\u2019t do justice to all that the\nproject currently offers to its stakeholders. So let us unpack the short\ndescription above and provide the deserved context and information about\nTrustPad\u2019s value-packed services.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. A brief introduction to IDOs (Initial DEX Offerings) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to understand Trustpad\u2019s value proposition, it is\nimportant to introduce the concept of IDOs. Just like many DeFi-era projects,\nTrustPad is deeply rooted and intertwined with 2020\/2021 DeFi\u2019s boom (which is\nalso expected to blossom throughout 2021 and in the coming months\/years) and thus,\nit\u2019s best to go a little back in time and do a quick, yet partial \u201ccrypto\nhistory\u201d recap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adoption of DeFi solutions finally emerged with hugely\nsuccessful projects, like Uniswap and Compound (two of the most notable\nprotocols among the successful DeFi lot), attracting investments that brought\nbillions of dollars in traded volume in the cryptocurrency markets and\nsnatching a considerable (and constantly growing) amount of market share from\ncentralized exchanges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DeFi bloomed, but while many already structured new projects\nblossomed as well, just as many potentially promising projects needed to find\nthe right way to market themselves and communicate their unique value\nproposition to potential investors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s how the fundraising activity got enriched by the launch of IDOs – whose ancestral and conceptual forerunner in the crypto space is deemed to be Binance\u2019s IEO (\u201cInitial Exchange Offering\u201d) Launchpad: investors who wanted to participate would be required to stake a certain amount of BNB tokens for a predefined timespan, during the crowd sale period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How do TrustPad IDOs work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And now that\u2019s when TrustPad entered the IDO landscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like several other IDO launchpads, TrustPad is not tied to any\ncentralized exchange. Just as with Binance centralized Launchpad & BNB of\nthe very beginning, in order to participate in upcoming project pools, TrustPad\nusers are instead required to deposit\/stake the corresponding platform token\n($TPAD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the platform\u2019s end, the process is multi-phased. Few days before the established date, the project\u2019s whitelist\nopens to all eligible IDO participants. IDO eligibility and selection criteria\nmay vary in time according to TrustPad\u2019s tiering system. Investor participation\nin any Trustpad IDO is dependent on the numbers of $TPAD tokens owned &\nstaked. Some higher tiers allow for a guaranteed allocation, while lower levels\nemploy a lottery mechanism where the probability of getting whitelisted is a\nstep function of the numbers of $TPAD tokens staked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is meant to be a fair presale mechanism and has been designed\ndue to the high token demand that precedes IDO launches, which most of the time\nare far superior to the allocated amount for the IDO. For that reason, a max\ncontribution per each $TPAD whitelisted user is set, where each lucky investor\ngets to contribute up to a maximum, customized amount of BUSD, according to the\nlevel to which participant belongs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the crowd sale date, only those who have the whitelisted right\nto join will then be able to calmly proceed with the pool\u2019s contribution,\nenabling users to receive an established amount of the launching project tokens\non the native blockchain of reference – as of now, either BSC, Solana or\nEthereum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
