For players to play your game, they need to have a Solana wallet such as Fanthom or SorFlare with at least 1 SolChick NFT and connect to the game client and players will need to select their SolChick NFT as their avatar or pay 1 SOL to create a non-NFT version with no attribute and start a “saved states”.So is it really compulsory that users must have an SOL wallet to connect to the game client before they play the game? Is there no alternative? Will you use only the Solana platform and not integrate it into other blockchains in the future? What is the cost of having attributes in your game since 1 SOL of creating a non-NFT version of SolChick won’t grant players any attributes? And lastly, Can you tell us what you mean by “saved states”?Please explain Thanks

So far now we’re only on the Solana network. We’re looking at supporting
multi-chain (currently designing weapons/equipment and other items on BSC and
seeing if this can be integrated into our game).

Perry: So you can only play our game (for now) if you have an SOL wallet AND own a SolChick NFT/rent a SolChick.
You can breed 2 SolChicks to create a new NFT version of a SolChick (shares attributes that parents have similar to real-life breeding).
The cost of having attributes in the game has not been determined. We will have an in-game marketplace where you can trade items. The value of these items depends largely on what people are happy to buy/sell them for.

SolChick NFTs are used to enter into our game but can also be used to unlock passive income pathways!
You can use $CHICKS to breed 2 SolChicks and create a new NFT SolChick. This NFT SolChick can be RENTED out to other players, who can then play the game without an original NFT.
You can rent it out for a flat amount! 🙂 Higher rarity chicks may be slightly more expensive to rent because they offer players some slight buffs in-game.
Furthermore, we’re designing weapons + skins, and other items which can be equipped in-game to boost your stats. Holders of $CHICKS and our SolChick NFTs have a chance to be airdropped some of these items!
Those are the current use-cases for SolChick NFTs.

I found out that the supply of SolChicks will be limited to 10,000 and more will not be added in the future. The only way new SolChicks can be added is through the “Breeding” process. Users can breed SolChicks to produce a SolEgg which will hatch to a brand new SolChick NFT. Can you give more details about the Breeding process? What are the requirements that users and their SolChicks must meet to be able to breed and produce a SolEgg? How long does it take for a SolEgg to hatch? What determines the characteristics of a new SolChick NFT gotten from the breeding process?

According to this game option, players can gang up against their SolChicks with others to form a pact which will increase their probability of winning battles. Can you tell us more about how players can use their SolChicks to form alliances with other SolChicks and how this can help to create a more efficient battle system? How is Ganging different from SolChicks merging/breeding and how will the battle-winning reward be shared between the individual SolChicks that form the gang? Since you said ganging up together will result in a faster gain of experience, will the experience gained be in the form of group experience or will it be added individually to each SolChick that forms the gang?

This is just one of many co-op options. You will be matched with other players based on MMR (to make the game fair).
Ganging is different from merging/breeding because you’re essentially battling but in a group.
Other information in your question has not been released in our game mechanics paper. We’re still in the phase of ensuring our game is balanced and fair – how this will translate into a division of rewards is currently being revised.

What measures have you put in place to avoid whales buying and dumping leading to short-term hype? I can’t tell you the specifics as to why we chose CafeSwap – however –
generally with all our launchpads (over 30+), we choose them based on how they
value-add to our company.
For our launchpads, we’ve been able to host AMAs on their channels and do a lot of co-marketing.
To avoid pumping and dumping, our IDO was launched 1-2 days ago with linear vesting periods of 3 months minimum.
I think we had over 150k people register for a whitelist spot, and of those people – we only let some invest via a lottery system for a very small amount so funds are spread among lots of people.
We also have exciting plans ahead – like game launch and pushing marketing in various regional areas. Our team is expanding every day and you will see more growth after we’re listed on DEX’s.

to make the game fair, the rarity of your solchick will give you very slight buffs in-game. We’re introducing other items like weapons, equipment, and other items which can also boost your in-game stats.
You can purchase a rare chick from secondary markets like solanart, magic Eden, etc.

For now – we have not released any more information regarding what the battle
against the Solfox will be like.
We just released our game demo on our website which you can play to get a gist of what the game will feel like though!
We only launched 10 weeks ago – so a lot of elements in our game are still being revised.
When you battle against the Solfox – you can win $CHICKS and other valuable items which can be traded in the in-game marketplace. It’s supposed to be super challenging – like a traditional ‘boss level.’
You can unlock certain parts of the game by leveling up – raids/quests/tournaments are unlocked as you reach higher and higher levels.

Perry: Levels 0-15 are to teach players the basic mechanics to play our game. You will not be able to earn any rewards below level 15 (for now – as per our game mechanics paper).
$CHICKS rewards will increase based on your level and difficulty of quests/tasks in-game.
Level 0-15 should not take more than a few days.

We want to instill trust in the project. We have done this by doing our team (all our LinkedIn on the website) and implementing fair and accessibly play-to-earn rewards in our game.
Our floor price in a number of secondary markets is over 14SOL with lots of trading volume going in and out. I think we’ve managed to secure the trust of the community. We won’t let you down. 🙂

Lots of blockchain games are played simply because there is earning potential. As massive gaming fans, we wanted to combine the best of both worlds (FUN AND LUCRATIVE).
For casual players: Multiple game modes include raids, tournaments, quests, and more. No play-to-win and all players matched based on MMR for fairness. Game mechanics are easy to learn and derived from familiar games like Diablo, League of Legends, and Dota 2.
For farmers: Making our game as accessible as possible. We are doing this by partnering with multiple guilds (to access scholar programs) and allowing players to rent a non-NFT to play the game and make money without an original NFT.

When it comes to competition, we are competing with existing messaging apps on one hand and existing trading solutions on the other.
In terms of messaging, our competitors are popular messaging applications like Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, but also smaller ones like Status or Sylo.
Nevertheless, we have significant advantages over them, as Secretum avoids the personal and data risks present in existing messaging apps, while offering a significantly greater level of privacy.
On Secretum, all data and messages are stored on trusted nodes directly on our Solana-based blockchain network, thus eliminating the security risk of centralised user data storage, bypassing any central points of failure, as well as geographic/political obstacles.
In terms of trading, a number of elements make Secretum an ideal trading solution compared to existing market alternatives.
First, the Secretum “Instant Trade” function allows users to directly send from or receive to their wallets crypto assets to/from those of other Secretum users.

Why did you underestimate the contributions by community members? Further, you have allocated 20% for the development. This is also a considerable allocation. Please explain what kind of developments will be carried out and how these funds will be utilized.

Secretum: Transaction commissions are generated from P2P asset transfers and messages. To promote the value of the token and the stability of the ecosystem, partial burning of each transaction fee is also implemented.
As the Secretum network grows, inflationary rewards will constitute the bulk of incentives, to attract and build a large network of nodes and node validators.
To launch an SPC, a user will have to to pay 100 SER tokens, of which 20% will be instantly burned, and 80% will become a staking reward for nodes.
To access the content, users pay owners set fees, which owners keep 90% of. The remaining 10% is used as a staking reward (80%) and burned (20%).

Wasted Lands is a match-3-RPG game with a post-apocalyptic theme. Its main mission is to discover the secret of the biological pandemic. In order to do that, you will have to gather your team, fight against others, explore the world and collect pieces of evidence.
For match-3 gameplay, you
may think of Candy crush or Bejeweled as an example. We hope this classic
gameplay would attract mass users as it is really familiar and easy to play.

These free warriors default to all players. Thanks to this, free players can enjoy the game and gain tokens while playing in PvE campaign mode. All token earning from default warriors will be locked and players can only withdraw these token if they have at least 1 NFT warrior.
For users who own NFT warriors, they can freely trade and access all the game functions.

A player can start completely free and earn their way to the very top of the
game. Below is the example progress of a Free-to-play player:
Free players will be given non-NFT warriors (default warriors) as soon as they
start the game.
Then, by playing the game in PvE mode with free warriors, the player receives
WAS token (will be locked) and some items of various rarity.
The free players can also fight against other players in PvP mode to win more
tokens.
All rewards will remain locked until they have their first NFT warrior. This creates a sustainable economic cycle for F2P players, without a large upfront investment until they earn enough, and most importantly, know how to play the game and win.

What will be the minimum amount of value required for players to purchase NFTs they will use when playing your game? What are the future benefits that will be given to players so they don’t walk away especially early adopters? Do you have a feedback system built-in to provide user data for future refinement of your game? Luân Ngô: The exact date of the MVP would be around 20/12. We’ve changed the plan today and have not updated the timeline on the whitepaper yet. The reason for this is that we want MVP to give players the full experience of match-3 and RPG, in real combat.
So the new timeline would be:
NFT warriors sale on early Dec
IDO in the middle of Dec
Having staking and daily quests ready
Release the MVP right after all that!
Luân Ngô: For this MVP, the only player with NFT warriors can join, so the expected number of players in the first few days would be around 5.000. After that, as we’re introducing Free-to-play MVP and Breeding/Fusion, a huge wave of users would join, expected to happen in early Jan 2022.
We will have 2 kinds of feedback in order to refine our game:
We implement a tracking system to see how players interact with our games and try to find out their problems, such as: do they really understand the tutorial, which features/functions did they miss, how would they use our suggestion in battle, how often do they change their formation, etc.
We get user feedback directly via email, telegram group, game reviews on the stores, etc.

The Wasted Lands treasury is considered to become a pillow bringing stability and sustainability. There are multiple sources of income for the treasure such as fees on trading with game assets or rental, trading fee on the marketplace, minting fee, items purchase fee, or the fees through in-game activities. Please explain how do you plan to distribute the fee pool and what is going to be financed from these funds? Are you planning to invest in game development after Q4 2022 by bringing more complicated and diversified gameplay? Do you plan to support any extra activities out of the project (like charity for ex.)?
Ying Wu: The Wasted Lands treasury oversees the management of all game assets and brings stability and sustainability to TWL’s economy. A part of the game’s revenue will go into the Treasury. At the same time, the Treasury will be the source of funding for the game ecosystem in the form of rewards for achievements, tournament prizes, etc. The Treasury fee comes from: Game assets purchase/rental. Trading fee on Marketplace. Fusion/Born NFTs fee Equipment, pets, lands purchase. A fee collected through in-game activities

About your Renting feature, I learned that owners of NFTs can put their unused assets for rent to generate better income. Will the amount to be paid as rent be fixed or it will be negotiated by both users? -I also found out that you have two Rental systems; “Renting with collateral” and “Renting without collateral”. In renting with collateral, the renter has to deposit an amount to be used as collateral but in renting without collateral, the renter will not have to deposit any collateral. Can you explain more about how renting without collateral works? How do you make sure that the owner of the NFT won’t lose it in the renting without collateral system?
Luân Ngô: The amount will be negotiated. The decision would be on players. We will only create a marketplace for players to meet.
Renting with collateral will be released first.
As per the Renting without collateral. There will be whitelists for both renter and rentee. If renters could not pay the fee as agreed, they will be banned from the renting system.
The rent fee of “Renting without collateral” would be higher, so there will be a strict policy for the renter and rentee. And of course, they have to work directly with us.

I made note of Two of your key game mechanisms:- Game balancing and Governance, under game balancing you have the warrior born features in which two NFT warriors can be used to create a new offspring with inherited traits, and under Governance, players can choose 1 of 3 factions in the game and vote for their favorite Faction. Can you please elaborate on the features of these new offspring? Can two offspring’s be combined to create a stronger NFT warrior? What are requirements for users to able to use the warrior born feature? And lastly can you elaborate on the 3 factions of the game and their features?
Luân Ngô: Okay, so for the Breeding/Mating feature, players will need 2 warriors to use the breeding/mating feature, no matter what gender. The offspring will gain mostly the parts, abilities, skills, and base stats of their parents. However, there is a 10% chance of mutation, which makes the offspring have parts and abilities, not from their parents.
2 offsprings can be
combined. However, there is no guarantee on the “stronger F2”
If you want a guarantee, you can use the Fusion feature, which allows players to lock the parts of the warrior that they want to keep before fusing it with the food (the other warrior).
The requirements for breeding/mating: have 2 warriors as parents, pay the fee to breed. That’s all!
About the Factions, there are 3 main factions in the game, which are Survivors (pure human), Hybrids (half human – half animal), and Ex-Company (human with high tech, cyborgs). The factions have advantages over others like Hybrids > Survivors > Ex-company > Hybrids. Therefore you’ll have multiple strategies to build your team.

On the other side, the higher number of body parts that you lock in Fusion will have a higher fee.

Even as these are important future project plans, can you give an idea of how the Wasted Lands staking vaults will be structured, will these vaults be grouped according to their reward types (passive income or game items)? Also can you let us know the supported LP tokens for staking, and what sort of incentive will be given to vaults with WAL token stakes? Finally, can you provide a possible timeline to the start of your staking program?

Luân Ngô: You can create new characters/warriors by Breeding 2 warriors or using 1 of them as food for Fusion.
As per the new gameplay, in late 2022, we will release a new NFT and let you craft your own vehicles, use them to race.
The new gameplay is the first move to expand the game’s universe.

So, I was wondering, can you tell us more about the gameplay in every aspect of the game? Besides the PvP battles being made by Match-Three puzzles, how will the gameplay for PvE and Mating be? Luân Ngô: This question got me really interested as you actually stay close to the gameplay. Thanks! The answer is that the Match-3 will be our main gameplay throughout PvP and PvE. You will have to match the right gems to attack and fill your mana of special skills. In PvE mode, you will discover the World, fight against other teams (computer), and get evidence of the pandemic.

Luân Ngô: Free warriors can also be upgraded, so that they will get stronger and earn more rewards (items, token) as players progress through the PvE. Probably when free players feel that they know how to win in this game, or when they locked income enough for the first NFT, they won’t hesitate to join our game as NFT players.

Luân Ngô: A good tip to start strong is to have a great formation that can fight others in PvP. Players can play with at least 1 NFT warrior, and there will only be 3 in a formation.
However, as the game has 3 factions, and multiple roles (Damage Dealer/Tanker/Supporter), it is recommended to have more than 1 formation and be ready for all the strategies.
