In today’s featured article we will be looking at SolChicks – a blockchain & NFT-based Diablo-style multiplayer game designed on the Solana ecosystem. Despite being one of the first Metaverses built on Solana, this project has already been capable of overcoming many expectations, and setting several crypto records itself, as well as solid partnerships, foreshadowing a prosperous future, filled with many potential opportunities to become a high-ranked game.
Without further ado, let’s dive in and discover what SolChick has in store for us!
What is SolChicks?
SolChicks is a Multiplayer Role-Playing game based on the Solana blockchain. It presents itself with a unique Play2Earn (P2E) model, where players get rewarded proportionally, based on the time devoted to playing the game. In this perspective, players can choose whether to focus on completing missions, fight other players to get higher up on the leaderboard’s ranking, collect and trade the various NFTs obtained by playing the game or even wandering around the vast game world, hunting for the most powerful objects to equip or resell on the marketplace.
Ultimately players have many choices at their disposal for a user experience that can be customizable and molded according to each player’s expectations, thus concretely making SolChicks a game capable of satisfying even the most refined among gaming palates!
SolChicks’s Concepts and Vision
The game’s storyline takes place on Chicco, a planet that’s home to our heroic SolChicks – a race of intrepid chicks that, despite their cute, cuddly looks might seem innocuous… Yet, among their ranks, some Spartan-like, fiery, warriors live, revered by their peers and aspiring to ascend to glory as some of the most powerful heroes of their time! Ancient lore and myths surround these feathered folks, and legends range from the long-praised, endless battles against some among the most fearsome, ferocious beasts one could think of to the exploration of the most dangerous, far-away corners of the world!
As in every tale worthy of being told, things have always been peaceful on planet Chicco… until suddenly harmony and peace got shaken by the unexpected appearance of an intergalactic threat. Despite all the efforts and strenuous put forward by the most skilled and experienced fighters, the Solchicks succumbed to the cruel and bloodthirsty race known as SoulFoxes.
Survivors had only one chance: collect the remaining supplies and equipment that was spared from the raging war and evacuate the planet, traveling through the stars, looking for a new place to call “home”. After what seemed like a never-ending period of wandering, survivors landed on planet Solana – or better, a blockchain platform – that welcomed them, giving them refuge, forage & recovery, and – above all – a place where to settle down and start life anew. Still, something was lingering in the minds of the few escaped SolChicks… How to reconcile themselves to their defeat – how was that possible that a civilization that had been peaceful through the millennia had been attacked without any signs of warning or omen? What was the origin of the SoulFoxes? And how they did manage to find them?

And that’s just the beginning of our quests in The SolChicks metaverse! The SolChicks universe offers players the chance to
play, explore, fight
create new items, weapons, and equipment
use lands to build shops and structures that offer various services to other players (e.g. a blacksmith or a forge)
give life to arenas and tournaments
following a game design where nothing seems to have been left to chance!
To start this amazing adventure, players will need an NFT, namely a SolChick. On the other hand, users that don’t own one (or more) cute (yet war-mongering inclined!) SolChick(s) will still be able to join into the fray – the project’s game developers are working on devising a solution that will allow users to actively participate in the game, by paying a sum in $SOL tokens (Solana blockchain’s main currency ) – which will much inferior to the needed to get a SolChick’s NFTs at market prices – to create a Non-NFT SolChick to start your very own saga in what’s called “Silent State” mode.
In this gaming mode, the main difference relies on the fact that SolChicks created this way won’t have any attributes on them, will neither be tradeable nor breedable (that is, users won’t be able to give life to a new, feathered progeny) – yet players will still be able to join in quests, fight, explore the world and reap gaming rewards!
Spotlight: The SolChicks
Each SolChick is, by nature, unique and each is born and equipped with attributes and skills that are one-of-a-kind, that will evolve in time …and that will become active as soon as the SolChick will be able to start roaming the world with its very own legs! During the growth stage, each SolChick earns experience that can be spent to refine its fighting techniques and perks, many of which will also, directly and indirectly, bring it to contribute and support the whole planet’s community and ecosystem.
The total supply of the Gen-0 (that is, the originally minted) SolChicks is 10,000 units. And, as hinted above, each SolChick possesses attributes and traits that render the playing character unique. Up until now (February 1rst), three public NFT sales have been made. During the minting (creation) phase of these NFTs, each player had the chance to grab one – among five – SolChicken types:

There’s a great chance to incur getting a Common/Uncommon Chick (respectively, 60% – 40%)
A 1 out 6 chance to get a Rare Chick
A 2% chance to get a Mythical Chick
And a slim 0.1% chance (1 out of 1000) to get the Mightiest one – that is, a Legendary Chick, also known as Solunicorn
These puffy, yet valiant creatures will get through various growth stages.
From the very first levels up until level 15, creating a strong bond with our own NFT will be of pivotal significance. For that reason, it will be extremely important to pay attention to the Chick, by feeding it and playing with it. This stage should pass relatively fast and, according to the team, can be completed in a week’s time of somewhat effortless dedication, thus easily cruising through the next phase.
From level 15 to level 30, the Chick will take its first steps in the adult stage, which will bring it to face its first PvE and PvP battles, while also developing hidden fighting traits and talents.
Beyond level 30, the chick will officially become a fully-fledged grown SolChick and will be able to join tournaments, equip itself with useful items and compete to climb up the leaderboard’s ranks
Upon reaching level 45 things will become even more interesting: at this point, the SolChick will have mastered abilities and skills, and users will be able to pick their Chick’s class. A level 45 SolChick’s will also be able to breed (by mating with another SolChick specimen!). An egg will be laid, which will crack open in 7 days time, revealing a new baby SolChick that’ll share its parents’ genetic traits
At level 60, the SolChick warrior will earn the title of “Imperial SolChick”: in this “supreme condition”, the SolChick will be able to join special competitions/game modes, like the “Raid” – that’s where you will be able to test your SolChick’s true mettle!
Before the next official public sale will be announced (no confirmed date yet), anybody who would like to get his/her very own SolChick will be able to buy one from Solanart – Solana’s Art Marketplace. On the marketplace, users get the chance to pick their battle-ready Chick, instead of relying on good chances. The flip side of the coin though is obvious that on the marketplace the price of the NFT is set by the seller. On the other hand, there’s always the possibility to place an offer and see if someone, among SolChick owners, resolves to accept your offer and sell his/her Chick to you.
SolChicks Token Economics ($CHICKS)
The flagship token of SolChicks metaverse is $CHICKS. Here’s some basic information about the $CHICKS native token:
An aspect that’s worth highlighting (and a great selling point as well for the project) is that just a bit less than 40% of the total 10,000,000,000 $CHICKS supply will be allocated for community rewards. In other words, ⅖ of the total supply will be redistributed to the community and to active in-game players through drops or through the token’s staking, with the goal to favor a flourishing, long-term game economy.

Breeding SolChicks and selling them on the marketplace

rank and produce new weapons and armors, fight in Arena against other players
In-game NFTs are
obtained via big monster and carnivore plants fights. The NFTs in Nomadland are
not like the typical “collectible card” NFTs so common in crypto
today. Instead, they are usable and functional NFTs that can be inserted into
the Nomadland Game Framework and become special in-game items : weapons,
armors, special moves, and super powers. These NFTs can be bought or sold both
in the in-game exchanges (market place) or in 3rd party NFT exchanges outside
the game world.

Part of the island of NOMADLAND is divided into plots that are offered for sale to players. “Once purchased, the plots of land become the property of the player, bringing him numerous advantages in the game as well as elements of uniqueness that only the owners of the land will have”. When will these land plots be offered for sale? What will be the total supply of these land plots? Is there a limit to the number of land plots a single user can own? Can you mention some of the advantages and “elements of uniqueness” that the owners of these land plots will get? Will the price of these land plots be fixed or will users be able to sell them at a different price?

of the elements of the game. As number of the Nomadland land plots will be
restricted, their pricing may become higher with the time, so we encourage
players to try and purchase land in the beginning!
Player can buy this land and sell at the higher price on the
in-game marketplace for NOMAD tokens.
Also, players who own land receives advantages as
customizations and increased SPEED in farm development.
The plan is to start selling land by the end of February on
the selected marketplace

friends using one network of your home. In-game rules will be described closer
to the release, and you can familiarize yourself with them at the entrance, or
inside the game, will be described detailed game policy.

You will start farming, from your domestic plants you will create mystical flames .Also, you will play the RPG part of the game, discovering the NOMADLAND island to fight against monsters and carnivore plants. BY defeating them you will discover mystical recipes used to create new weapons and armors
Purchasing land will give in-game advantages, one of them will be a higher speed for your farming process

I read an article where you have stated the major reason behind building StarSharks on Binance Smart Chain. You made mention that There are indeed a lot of public chain options for the GameFi project to build on and that the key factor for StarSharks to choose BSC is about what could bring the best experience and value to our community, as in 1) lower gas fee; 2) strong community. As gas interacting on a decentralised platform based on ETH continues to rise, it becomes more and more expensive for users to participate in its ecosystem. Through BSC, we can pay low gas fees while enjoying high speed. BSC, backed by Binance, the largest digital currency exchange, has a large enough user base that matches with the big plan of StarSharks. Nice..However, BSC is largely centralized. And at any given time, there are only 21 validators active on the network. Centralized systems are more prone to system failures, attacks, regulatory compliance orders and even hacks. How is StarSharks going to address these system failures for players and gamers? Do you plan on building on other public chain like Sol, Cardarno, FTM and others

Wow, these are good questions.
There are very strict requirements for BSC validators and they are all competent server maintainers.Thus, validators have the match skill sets to make sure the servers are working smoothly.
The modified version of POS consensus enables the fast speed and low gas fee of BSC. Therefore, we decided to first build on BSC to ensure a stable experience and a cheap entry for users and players to join.
For building projects on other chains, this is certainly an
option for us in the future, but we are currently more inclined to focus on our
product itself. Once the platform is mature enough, we may also start to
explore and evaluate cross chain possibilities.

StarShark warriors offers various types of gameplays which was created not only beginner friendly with it’s simple combat rules and SKILL Mechanisms, but also exciting and challenging with its infinite strategy combinations and battle maneuvering. Can you give us more information about the gameplays mode which includes Adventure mode; PvE battle; and PVP battle, I read that players get to experience the StarSharks storyline and unlock new levels, does that mean the gameplays is in form of mission mode? I also read that the PVP battle is the most complex one which has player matching for PvP battles and team matching for PvP battles, I want to have knowledge of how this mode will serve as incentive with handsome rewards.

PVE & PVP battle mode in our project in fact are not very different from those in other games. In terms of adventure mode, it is what we called PvE battle mode. It encourages players to play strategically against the AI to win battles, a win in PvE gives our in-game token SEA as a reward. It encourages beginners to learn as they play as a loss does not consume energy points which means there’s an indefinite learning curve. The adventure mode does have different levels which can be unlocked based on the star-level of your sharks.

What happens in a situation where the expected earnings set by the user/lessor is not reached? What system is setup to ensure efficient use of StarSharks NFTs by lessees thereby protecting the interests of lessors? Can you give a detailed explanation about how the splitting of earnings between the lessor and the lessee determined?

Our team ensured there have been rules setup to protect the interests of lessors for example: lessors can get their sharks back from the rental market anytime they want as long as it’s not being leased by anyone at that moment. When the profit to the lessor for a single shark does not reach the expected profit set by the lessor, the leaser’s credit score will be deducted. We also protect the lessee by giving them rights to extend their leases as deemed necessary before the expiry of the lease they’re currently on. Another important one is that sharks without full energy points cannot be leased out to ensure the lessee enjoys optimal use and value of money spent to lease the shark.

As you have just mentioned, StarSharks has a sustainable dual-token economy system which makes it very important for players and investors to hold both tokens as explained below.
$SSS is the governance token of StarSharks with a max supply of 100 million. Its value will be maintained by the special design of “release-staking-recycling”. Players will also be able to participate in DAO decision making in the future.
$SEA is the game token of StarSharks with unlimited supply. However, players can only get SEA tokens in-games and its value will be stabilised by the many utilities that will be applied in upcoming games.

For example, in the second game that is being developed, we have a plan of issuing land NFTs and the game is expected to release in the middle of the year. We take extreme care in maintaining the balance of the platform while releasing the new NFTs. Of course, our shark NFTs will enjoy the most applications in different future scenarios. So the fun part of ALL trading card game is same: players
spend time playing the game and learn skills and knowledge, you always have to
play while learning some tips yourself. I can’t go in the sophisticated in here
coz it could easily take days to take about. The basic game play is this:
For the gameplay, the first step is the ‘role play’
– Player = Supreme Commander
– Cards= Loyal Generals or Soldiers
Start the game:
– Both players use a deck of 50 to 80 cards.
– Both players soldier on in three directions on the
criss-cross battlefield and break through the opponent.
– Kill the opponent to ultimately win the game.
Game battle:
– Both players start the game matched by the pre-selected
legal deck types.
– Swap the initial hand and choose a tech path.
– Add the top card to your hand and decide to play/summon
your cards.
– During the battle stage, each actionable card takes turns
making 1 legal attack in the order of its actions.
– Repeat the above stages until the opponent remains 0 life
or meets the victory conditions.

$CP is with 250 million in total supply and can be used to:

I took time to go through your audit by CERTIK and I took note of some notable risks that were not resolved and are worth discussing about. I saw that 250 million CrystalPowder tokens are sent to the owner when the contract was deployed and i clearly saw that this could be a risk as owner can choose to distribute CrystalPowder tokens anytime. can you elaborate on these 250 million CrystalPowder tokens sent to owner and why they went sent to the owner’s address? When are these 250millions tokens going to be released and will there be a consensus before they are distribution? Lastly, I noted that they Lost Throne Project team still have some privileges over the contract, can you explain on these privileges? L-key is the game login token for TLT. You need to stake CP and USDT tokens on Libertland APP to receive CP-USDT tokens and then generate L-key with that. Shining cards are the requirement to participate the ranked game, when you have at least one shining card, you can play the ranked mode of the game and win DD rewards based on your MMR and win/loss

Good question. They coexist! The two tokens are all listed in dex (pancakeswap) with liquidity pool generated for players to buy/sell. Also, as mentioned, the generation of L-key involves deposit tokens into the liquidity pool, so thats defi. As to NFT, all our NFT cards no matter what rarity they are, are in form of BEP-1155. The ownership totally belongs to the owner of the NFT. Players can purchase mystery box to acquire NFT cards or exchange them in the NFT marketplace.
