Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): I started in crypto around 6 years ago it was 2014 I bought my first bitcoin. From then I was amazed by the blockchain technology and headed up one of the biggest OTC firms in my country. In 2020 I got massively into DeFi, first on the ethereum blockchain then moved over to BSC due to the cheaper fees 🙂

Chewbacca: I am Chewbakka, the CMO of SafeLaunch, I have been in the crypto market for 6 years. I have sufficient experience in the Crypto industry particularly in DeFi. And I have been worked as market manager and operation director for many year, now I will try my best to make SafeLaunch a greet success. Thanks.

What is the essence of SafeLaunch?

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): The idea behind SafeLaunch came around one day when I was sitting in discord chatting to a few people in the space, we just received an allocation from a launchpad (won’t name any names) but it was around 30$. This project did well and we made around 7x from this but it annoyed me that I had invested quite abit into the coin for such a small allocation and the token only had 1 usecase.

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: And how does SafeLaunch solve this problem?

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): I pondered the idea of how we could give bigger allocations to users and increase the barrier to entry, this is why we’ve come up with the staking/LP mining idea, it works as a 3 pronged rewards system, you’ll more $SFE like you would a normal farm, you’ll also get allocations into our launchpad/incubated projects and we’ve just annoucned SafeAllocations where users will also benefit from projects cross-chain that may not launch on our platform.

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): We solve this by increasing the barrier to entry, you can’t just ‘HODL’ our token, you’ll need to stake into our farming pools with either a 7 day or 30 day lockup this means that people don’t just hold the token for the IDO and then dump.

We were contemplating on having a no lockup pool but I feel this will saturate the allocations for people who have locked up for longer hence the reason for the 7 day and 30 day.

The longer the lockup the more allocation you will receive

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): we’ll start with a 1x allocation and depending on the amount of tokens or LP tokens stake you’ll get a multiplier based on this. We haven’t released all the details yet but will do very soon. 🙂

To reward your biggest token holders Safelaunch promises to hold private allocation rounds for projects that cannot launch on your platform and are cross chain. I wonder how you plan to acquire allocations from the projects that do not launch on your platform. Are these going to be strategic investments into projects unrelated to Safelaunch or do you plan to partner with those project you invest in?

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): We’re building a big team of Researchers / Project Analyst who will reach out to projects that haven’t launched yet and will offer our in-house marketing services, expertise and if they need help with development/UI in return we’d ask these projects for allocations. We already have many contacts within the industry and have been doing this on a smaller basis between friends/contacts.

All the projects will go through the same 122 point due diligence process that our incubated / launchpad projects go through. If they pass all the tests only then will the strategic investment allocations be passed onto our $SFE token holders

I couldn’t find much information about the SafeLaunch team so I guess you decided to remain anonymous. Is this a permanent decision? Some teams start anonymous and later reveal their identities, so is there a possibility that you do the same? Do you think that being anon will arise some distrust or wariness among users?

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): Currently we’re anonymous however we have been KYC’d but some of our partners in order form these partnerships. So I’d say we’re semi-anonymous ☺️We may later down the line reveal our details to the public but this discussion still needs to happen within the team.

I think to start with and pre-launch it’ll cause small distrust but after launch and when everyone see’s we’re delivering on what’s promised I don’t see it being an issue.

The largest share of your token (50% of the total token supply) is allocated to liquidity mining while the least percentage (1%) is allocated for community incentives. On what platform do you plan to conduct yield farming and staking, and how will your pools be designed to provide an effective yield mining process? And for the community incentive share which is a 1%, what community events do you plan to embark on and how do you plan to incentivize your users? Why is community incentive given the least recognition in your token sale? Don’t you think the community are vital members of the ecosystem who has important role to play in project development?

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): The community are definitely a massive part of any project, with no community a project wouldn’t survive. This is why we wanted to ensure that the community could farm a large portion of $SFE tokens (actually more than half now at 55%).

For the 1% of incentives/airdrops we’re in the process of holding bounty programs for the community including MEME, stickers and NFT contests which will be announced in due course.

Its really interesting that Safelaunch have unique way to select project by Incubating the project. I found this unique since i think other launchpad don’t have ‘incubator’ system and usually don’t care with the project after the “launchpad job” done. But can you tell us how are the proccess for incubating a project? What will you do to them?

Chewbacca: Each project that we incubate/launch on our platform must go through our 122 point in-depth due diligence check, this will include KYC of founder members and CTO, audits paid by us with through our partnerships with audit agencies, locked liquidity from the get-go and much much more.

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): This is probably the most common question we get asked, when we select a project to be incubated they must tick alot of boxes including innovation, one of the first of it’s kind and passionate team.

Chewbacca: All the projects that go through our incubation service will have access to our network of developers, marketing teams, community managers, social media managers and audit partners. This means projects can focus on their tech and ideas and not worry about the cumbersome idea of marketing and making the right partnerships as we can do this for them.

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): Yes! So early adopters will benefit massively with our rewards starting at 1 $SFE per block and halves every 10 days, this means the people who are early will benefit massively from the extremely high APR in the first 10 days 🙂

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): Honestly, the features we’re most proud of and the whole reason the idea came around is being able to give our community bigger allocations than the small 20$ allocations currently on offer at our competitors.

Everything else is a bonus, we’re proud to be able to offer multiple usecases for our community also and not just have a token that is only used for 1 purpose.

Safelaunch has already launch $SFE token in the market but in Q3 2021,you will have a Fair launch for another token called $SFEX. So why you need to launch another token in your platform? What will be the use of $SFEX token in Safelaunch? Is this token is an official token also in Safelaunch and does this token will also be listed to some CEX or DEX exchange? Since it is a new token in Safelaunch, do you have any airdrop for the coming launch of this token? Thank you

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): Our $SFE token has a max supply of 10,000,000 tokens, which means more cannot be minted and we’d like to keep it this way and have $SFE as our main token in our ecosystem for allocations and launchpad.

The reasoning behind $SFEX will be another token to support our ecosystem which will be used in our yield optimization program and for governence. We haven’t released much more details about this token yet but trust me the force is strong with this idea 🙂

Nowadays, we know that proceeding project launch is much easier to do. You just need big pocket of money and boom, you are launched. However, this kind of project usually taken down within a short time. It can not stand for market challenges? How does SafeLaunch overcome this issue? and what are you suggest for a project like this?

Chewbacca: As we all know, the current climate with launchpad’s are small allocations with big investments into the tokens, we’ve designed a model that will reward token holders in our farms with bigger allocations than most of our competitors not only giving you allocations into pre-sales but earning interest on your staked coins.

The 2nd issue with current launchpad’s, they launch projects and don’t really care what happens with them after as they’ve ‘done’ their job. We will be incubating projects, dedicate our marketing teams to them pre and post ido. On top of that each project will have it’s own farm on our platform so it has an instant use case

What is the reason for you to drop off Ethereum blockchain and start the project with the Binance Smart Chain?

Chewbacca: Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a relatively new blockchain for DeFi projects however very exciting with much lower tx fees compared to other blockchains. Due to BSC being such a new platform for the DeFi scene many projects find it difficult to find the necessary rails for the support they need. This can hinder the most exciting projects get the spotlight they deserve and make it difficult for projects to raise the liquidity needed.

Yoda (SAFELAUNCH): Just to add to this, there is discussion of adding ethereum support later down the line but no plans are finalised yet. We’ll see how the fees go and EIP-1559

During your presale event, the team modified some contract functions so that they will be able to carry out this exercise manually. Also, while looking at the summary of your audit report done by solidity finance, they advise investors to ensure that they trust the team because the team has control over the contract and the ecosystem. In a situation where a malicious actor infiltrate the team, this may become worrisome. So I wish to know, what function in the contract can the team modify or call as they wish? Will project decisions be exclusively taken by the team or is there a place for ecosystem contribution? How can investors have a proof of trust in the team and how will you ensure the safety of all investors?

Sofiane (WILL NEVER ASK FOR FUNDS): That is a very good question.

As we’ve explained in our white paper, the burn and reflection function was not called since we carried out a whitelist presale (to prevent liquidity dumping bots). You can imagine that calling that function which puts a 10% transactional tax during a airdrop to 100s is a nightmare and would not make sense. That function was only called after we added to the Pancakeswap liquidity, and there is no way that any other wallet can be excluded from that tax once it has been called (which is what the Solidity Audit report also states).

Regarding our team, we are very cautious on who we onboard and have provided our identities to each other and to the public (watch us live right now on twitch.tv/hoodrattoken ), we all know each other’s addresses and have plans to incorporate.

Retaining ownership of the contract is very crucial to a utility token of our kind since we will need to incorporate an automated add to LP function (which will be covered in our section explaining how we plan on building a sound utility that benefits all our holders).

Our main core belief is transparency, and it is something that we have not failed to provide. As the project goes, we eventually plan on building a voter system, and have built relationships with our top 50 whales in order to consult them about big advancements of the project, in a shareholder meeting style.

This kind of partnership early on is very crucial to building legitimacy and providing a safe sphere in which people can invest.

Sofiane (WILL NEVER ASK FOR FUNDS): As we are currently speaking, we are relying on unsupervised machine learning algorithms to carry out tests and analyzing contracts on Bscscan. This means that we are not feeding it specific data structures and that the tool will learn on its own as more test runs are carrying out. While this approach is ambitious (and it would be simpler to have a supervised algorithm) and it will take time to get very accurate results, we believe it is the way to go as scams are getting more elaborate. Eventually this tool will be able to draw accurate predictions and output a risk percentage.

In simple terms, what the tool will carry out is :

– Tracks the dev wallet transactions on bscscan, see if there are any splits

– Recognizes what is sent to burn/pancakeswap etc.. and flags any potential risk

– Flag for honeypots

– Check for LP locks

Our tool is proprietary so there are a lot more parameters and functionalities that we are incorporating, which we will be unveiling as we approach the Beta release (in August)

The timeline of development for this tool is:

June: ML engine training, getting our POC working

Mid-August: Beta Release + hotfixes, implementing the auto add to LP function

Can you explain more about this? What are the purposes for these meetings? Do these holders give you ideas and suggestions about the development of HoodRat? If so, does that mean that this club is your version of the governance?

Sofiane (WILL NEVER ASK FOR FUNDS): We understood the nature of building relationships early on with our main investors. Our token is 3 weeks old, and whales make or break a coin since they got in very early at a significantly lower price.

It is our duty to be in communication with them and be on a same page in terms of fundamentals and vision. We meet with them weekly and discuss on further advancements, asking for their input on where we want to head as a project, in terms of branding, marketing etc.

Most of them have also contributed to our marketing activities, we also can organise private sales instead of having them dumping and hurting the price.

You can understand how important it is to satisfy your top holders and keep them involved so as to safeguard the future of this project.

The NFTs will be tradeable, with some rugged projects (such as Fairmoon) being more famous than others, they will hold a certain value compared to lesser known ones.

You can imagine the number of rug pulls and scam going on in this sphere, and the fact that we want to mint NFTs for it are done for two simple reasons:

– Awareness

– Education

It is a playful way to increase our legitimacy as a reference for anti rug-pulls but also helps people to materialize and see physically how much this rampant issue is growing.

I was impressed by such events as HOODRAT Merch, HOODRAT Billboard in NYC and Sponsoring a Rally race car. I would like to know more about this. What products have you prepared for your users, have you developed a symbology design for these products? For what purpose will a billboard be placed in New York City and what will be depicted on it? And sponsoring a Rally race car, what is this car, who owns it and what does this Hoodrat sponsorship give?

We are currently focused on building our branding from scratch and are seeing it from a company’s perspective. How do you build legitimacy and grow outside just the crypto niche?

We have a brandable logo, with a monochrome version being made for it (to put on hats, tshirts, polos etc).

So first it starts with the early adoption (to which you all are a part of hit) and it will be followed by significant milestones (the billboard and the race car sponsoring) to increase our awareness in traditional media, which is a medium that most of our team members are familiar with.

Currently you have seen that we have several blue tick accounts talking about Hoodrat (David Gokhstein, Dominique Hamilton, former NFL star and Zach Boychuk from the NHL). These are contacts that will be part of our marketing strategy.

The billboard in NYC is done as a symbolic milestone reflecting our advancement (we have contacts for it), we position ourselves as a reference for busting scams int he crypto sphere, which is a need and a worry that most non crypto people have and that prevents them from investing.

The fact that it is in NYC as well represents a prime target since most traders and people in finance are concentrated within that area.

Concerning the rally race car and further partnerships, they will be disclosed publicly once we finalise the partnerships, but we do plan on being more and more active on the sports sphere thanks to our connections.

We want to hit all the angles in terms of marketing, and we can only do so once our foundation is built, and it is thanks to you guys that we can achieve it!

On July 2021, HOODRAT will have its first Staking Platform. To participate in this platform to further increase rewards, what is the minimum amount of token that we should be holding? What is the staking reward system in this? Can you briefly introduce this to us?

Sofiane (WILL NEVER ASK FOR FUNDS): Staking is something that we want to implement thanks to partners in order to incentivize even more holders. They already benefit from the 5% redistribution on each trade but we are thinking about how to further secure our future long term wise? We have found Staking to be the best solution.

The amount of tokens necessary to be held will depend on how the project goes (in July) once we have implemented this solution. Currently our price is 0.006 usd per Hoodrat token, the number to hold may vary in July, so these terms will be discussed with our staking partner.

You may know that APYs depend on the stability of a project and that the more APY you get, the more it is susceptible to price action and is less stable. So currently we aim to reach a stable long term growth, which will be motivated by our main use case. The staking rewards in terms of % will need to be calculated once we reach that stage

It is currently a nightmare for a non crypto fellow to use pancakeswap, let alone figure out what a slippage is, and what metamask/trustwallet is.

What mechanisms do you use to prevent inflation?  I noticed that the 5% that is taken from the transaction does not take into account the redemption and combustion mechanism. Also, how will you deal with price pressure from selling tokens received for farming, airdrop and other schemes?

And lastly, is there a vesting period for presale buyers? Because these tokens received cheaply can push down the price very hard.

In terms of the collaboration with students/ startups, we see that we can support them in two ways- provide expertise or monetary support.

We see that some university students/ startups would like to get advice and talk to the people who are running green startup projects, they can reach out to Hoppy, and we are happy to share our knowledge and network with them. It is important to give youth a chance to realize!

Why university? We believe that students or young entrepreneurs would need support, Hoppy is willing to provide monetary support (within our budget) to kick start their project. Else, we can help them to launch as a new IDO for fundraising. We see that the green initiative launchpad is a niche market where Hoppy can tap on it 😉
