I am a developer, investor, and student at the University of Toronto. I got into crypto in 2019 where I initially started investing in Bitcoin, I then got really interested in the development side of crypto, and started developing on Ethereum. NFTs have really caught my attention this year and I am really excited in working in the space!

My name is Maxim and I am the Co-Founder of Altura. I am involved with cryptocurrency mining, managing private investment, and educating people in the blockchain space. I initially got into cryptocurrency in 2016, when I started my first bitcoin mining rig.

Also, I should introduce what Altura is.

Altura is a platform for minting, trading and integrating NFTs. Its primary focus is on in-game items and ensuring that gamers have the opportunity to actually own their items in a decentralized manner. We also want to be the first to introduce Smart NFTs and lootboxes to the NFT world.

We became aware of the significance of NFTs in early 2020.

Yea so the main focus of the platform is to be able to mint buy and sell smart NFTs

We are targeting the gaming NFT sector however.

Yeah, this is very interesting, gaming direction this is where NFTs can be really useful 👍

Absolutely. There is a lot of opportunities here

Your Project was initially named PLUTUS but I came across an announcement that you have changed name to Altura NFT. I also discovered that your twitter account with its numerous followers have been taken down. All these events took place simultaneously on 28/4/21 at the same time your presale was running on OxBull and this had made some investors to already start getting worried. What necessitated this change of name in the midst of presale? What aspects of your project and team will be affected by this sudden change and in what ways are investors expected to be affected?

Yes good question. So we initially thought we were cool to role with the name Plutus. We were aware of the competition, however we thought that as they were officially registered as Pluton, there would be no issue. We then got a cease and desist letter from the company, and found out that they had also registered Plutus as well, and thus we had to change our name.

Our twitter account was not taken down. we just changed the tag. It is still up and never went down. I do understand the confusion however.

Nothing about our project has changed whatsoever besides the name. Everything else is 100% the same.

We do apologize to investors and supporters. We understand this situation was not ideal, and it unfortunately happened all at the same time, right before launch which resulted in a messy situation.

Rename of the project it’s was very radical decision, we a bit afraid as well, when didn’t find your telegram channel today 😁

Altura stands for height/altitude in Spanish where the skys the limit!

Yes, we definitely understand. It was a radical change for all of us, and it, unfortunately, happened last minute as well. We wanted to stay legally compliant however that’s why we decided to make the decision.

The truth is that it is the first time that I hear about the “intelligent” or “dynamic” NFTs, first of all these types of NFTs are built or devised by you? If not, where did the idea of smart NFTs come from? Also, I would like to know what are the main advantages of smart NFTs over traditional ones. Can smart NFTs acquire value over time? How? Do you think that NFTs may be more in demand soon?

Smart NFTs is not an entirely unique concept, there had been previous attempts and iterations of NFTs with dynamic properties, however for the most part no major platform has succeeded in introducing smart NFTs. The concept has been around for some time but has not yet been effectively implemented.

The idea came to me when I was reading a blog by Chainlink. The blog was about using oracle driven data to effect the properties of NFTs, and thats when I got the idea of smart NFTs.

Smart NFTs like any regular NFT can acquire value based ons supply and demand. If there is a demand for them they will become valuable.

I do believe that NFTs will continue to evolve and grow and the demand for non fungible tokens and different use cases for NFTs will grow as well.

This chainlink article inspired a lot of my vision for Altura.

Can you give us an example of smart NFTs? how you will be use them?

Will your NFTs can be able to change their characteristic?

Sure. So one instance for example is a Bitcoin NFT that has a didHit100k property. This NFT property can actually change dynamically when the price of BTC hits 100k.

Yes, so with the dynamic properties, the game developers implementing the NFTs can make the NFTs function/ behave differently in-game based on their properties.

For instance, a sword NFT, could have a “sharpness property” and while that is just a numeric value, it could literally effect how strong that weapon is in-game.

We are trying to make Smart NFTs easy to create and use within games.

I understand that Plutus NFT is a NFT gaming platform which have native token ‘Altura’. Could you explain to us what are the function of Altura token in Plutus NFT project? Is it for game currency, use for farm/stake, or maybe for governance system?

The purpose of our token is to be used on the marketplace for buying and selling NFTs. Additionally, we hope to add governance such that ALU holders will be able to dictate the future of Altura.

Altura is a BEP20 token built on the Binance smart chain. It has a total supply of 1 billion.
The distribution is as follows:

15% Operation & dev
10% Reserve & Advisory
30% IDO
10% Private

Will I be offered templates and elements to create an NFT or will I be able to use my own materials? This function is paid, as I understand it, because you need to connect to Metamask?

Yes, you can create your own NFT! I’m not sure what they mean by my own templates/ own materials. You can upload your own image and set your own name/ title.

You do not have to pay us to make an NFT, you have to connect your metamask however to interact with the smart contracts.

You only have to pay gas fees in BNB, on our platform. We are not charging any money to make NFTs.

And after this it will be tradable on your marketplace?

This is a nice idea but can you tell us if how much to unlock this loot boxes? Is it worth to pay to unlock loot boxes for the NFT we can get while it unlocks? Is there any minimum loot boxes to unlock for each users of Altura? To give a little idea for NFT inside each loot boxes,can you tell us what kind of NFT that can be unlocked to a particular loot boxes? Thank you

The price to unlock will be determined by the creator of the loot box. whether or not it is worth paying for one depends on the supply and demand of both the loot boxes and the items inside

We plan to make our own loot box collection for instance where users will be able to get a bear NFT. Each NFT will have a different rarity such that some bears are very common while others are very rare

We believe that unpacking will either be free or cost money. This is set by the creator. As the loot box is also an ERC1155, it can be listed elsewhere. However, it cannot be listed on opensea for example since they do not support BSC.

On your projects whitepaper, i came accross one of the ways game developers can earn revenue through transaction tax. Kindly explain more about this initiative of yours? How will this bring about a win-win situation to the developer, buyer and Plutus?

Sure! So transaction tax can be set by the creator of the item upon minting. Every time the item is bought/ sold a fee is taken and sent to the creator of the tiem (which may be a game developer). This allows for passive income for the dveelopers. This is a win win situation for everyone.

Our plans for the short term are to have a successful launch and to also focus on our loot boxes. We strongly believe that loot boxes will drive a lot of adoption to our marketplace and products and this is something we want to spend a lot of time and effort perfecting. Plutus is unique because of the unique features that we bring to the NFT world, such as our Smart NFTs and loot boxes.
Currently, we have created the MVP for the NFT marketplace and are creating Lootboxes as we speak!
By next year we hope to have full Smart NFT functionality and our NFT Lootboxes for use in games, where users can buy and sell these items.

What is the business model of your project? How did it work? and

Our business model is to charge a transaction fee every time an item is bought and sold on our marketplace. Our customers are both, gamers who will be using the in-game items within the games that they play and game developers who will be using Altura to integrate NFTs into their video games.

From the start, the Altura team has understood that value creation is creating a product that can attract people to use it. As more people use the platform the more valuable it becomes! Kerel: Hi, my name is Kerel the CMO of Seascape. I’m ve working in marketing all my life, mostly in gaming and crypto. Joined crypto professionally in 2017, and never looked back ever since.

David – Seascape Founder: Greetings. I’m David, and I’m founder and creative director of the Seascape Network. I’ve been developing games now for nearly ten years, with a diverse background ranging from mobile games to AAA titles. Around 2015, I became heavily interested in the Bitcoin and Ethereum communities. Excited by the prospect of decentralization, and the potential impact this could have on gaming in the future, I partnered up with my long time work partner, Nicky Li and got to work on trying to bring what we thought was missing to the industry.

We worked on BLOCKLORDS, a medieval blockchain strategy game that launched on Tron, Neo, Ethereum, Matic, Loom and Icon, before deciding to launch Seascape.

We are building a gaming ecosystem incentivizing both developers and players, where you will be rewarded for interacting with any part of the platform.

Mary | Satoshi Club: I see that you are using your experience to the fullest, Seascape has grown a lot and reached insane heights!

Kerel: Yeah these last few months have been very exciting with a lot of releases and partnerships

David – Seascape Founder: Yes our token launched on Feb. 1st and it’s been a wild ride since then.

Our token, NFTs, and games are now fully live on both ETH and BSC, with Moonbeam version coming soon

so far we’ve got over 30K NFTs minted from our games, which is a truly amazing number.

do you have unlimited supply of NFTs 😁?

Mary | Satoshi Club: Yes! And i feel more are coming! Did your team also become bigger?

David – Seascape Founder: The NFTs are minted by our users, so as long as there is demand from the users, the supply can always increase. That said, it takes CWS to create those NFTs usually, or some other form of network participation such as LP mining. There is also a time limit in how the games are divided into seasons similar to games like Fortnite

So when a season ends, it will e impossible to get that same NFT in the early season generation again.

Kerel: Yes, we have been growing and getting more people from everywhere around the world and will continue to do so. We have aso gotten some active users helping us out so it’s really been a blast, and we’re looking forward to the future.

Your latest DeFi game is focused around NFT staking, we are talking about Staking Saloon and you made it through the big door with an event named the Combo Blaster Campaign, can you tell us what will be this event about? Will the Satoshiclubbers get a special chance to participate? What are the requirements?

Kerel: Our latest game, staking saloon has now been live for a few days and in it, you can stake up to 3 NFTs per wallet.

When staking an NFT you are then given rewards in the form of CWS depending on the power of your NFTs and how long you have been staking it for.

And when you claim your rewards the NFT will be burned

But one of the most interesting mechanic of the game comes from the bonus system

When staking all 3 NFTs you can get a bonus applied in the form of a multiplier to all yor rewards

so finding some of the best combos can multiply your earnings by as much as 100%

We have launched a new campaign called Combo Blast that rewards players for sharing the combos they have found to the community

Any game released on Seascape has the optional feature of creating their own blockchain with its own set of rules, how customizable would those blockchains be, how many experience would be required to be a developer in Seascape?

David – Seascape Founder: Each blockchain has a unique set of limitations regarding usability, scalibility and fees.

While the forst version of Seascape is more focused on delivering a cross-chain experience across eth, bsc, and polkadot, we do not think that is quite flexible enough to attract some of the largest game developers and publishers in the industry

so over the long term, our aim is to create customizable chains, where the game dev can mint their own platform native coin, set fees, nodes, validators, and governance designed entirely around each game.

This will all be backed and funded with CWS of course 🙂

While it is still a few years away, the game chain concept is something we are constantly reiterating and designing based on our current cross-chain launch experiences

Every player who owns Crowns will receive a “PayWave” drop, I have been reading how it is obtained I am confused, how is the supply of PayWave depends on the spending of tokens in the ecosystem? How does this mechanism work in relation to the amounts of tokens spent?

Kerel: Tokens are used in some of our games lick NFT BRawl, and instead of being burnt these tokens are locked away in a smart contract effectively reducing the circulating supply instead of having to burn them.

These tokens would then later on be redistributed back t the community as a form of incentive for interacting with the ecosystem. Hodlers of CWs would receive the tokens for simply keep on hodling.

As we release more and more games the amount of tokens spent would add to the pool and more would be given back to the community.

Mary | Satoshi Club: But they can be back to the supply? They are locked for the certain period?

D. | Satoshi Club: and thus total supply of CWS will be always 10 million?

David – Seascape Founder: They will be released back to holders whenever certain internal criteria are met.

Of course current usage and token demand plays a big role in when and how we release the PayWave

Yes the total max supply will always be 10m

Kerel: Right now we have farms in uniswap for ETH and bakeryswap and pancakeswap for BSC, we also have add vaults made in beefy finance and autofarm for the juiciest APYs.

David – Seascape Founder: We will be one of the first teams to deploy a defi product on Moonbeam.

They are giving us great support, both with technical support and also via our grant

we are commited to redistributing this grant to our user, so playing our game will actually be one of the best ways to earn Moonbeam tokens after it launches.

One thing that interests me most is the ease and uniqueness at which Seascape has been able to brilliantly gamify DeFi. Seascape has been able to incorporate concepts such as yield farming, staking, CDP etc., and turned them into fun gaming activities giving users and investors an opportunity to engage in critical financial operations while also having fun and earning rewards. Even as this approach appears laudable and great, how would you measure the general adoption of Seascape’s model by the gaming and DeFi communities, and what other brilliant DeFi themed games should we look out for in the coming months?

There are really no limits to what is possible. We plan to continue releasing a stream of new games centered around these DeFi concepts, and currently we are not short on any ideas as there are tons of ways of adding financial incentives to NFTs.

David – Seascape Founder: Each wallet is limited to 3 NFTs at the same time on Staking Saloon. When you claim rewards from one NFT, it is burned and the slot will be opened up again. Combo bonuses are granted only if you claim all 3 NFTs at the same time. So there are a lot of different strategies you can consider when you decide which NFT to stake.

The first set of Arctic Seascape Studio badges, Blocklords has been displayed in no less than 6 different block blocks since its inception (ETH, TRON, NEO, loom, icon, and MATIC).  Have you managed to add new blocks?  Detail the progress made in this first quarter?

Kerel: Blockclord was actually the first blockchain game of the team, but our first game for Seascape was Profit Circus. Blocklord has you said was integrated into many different blockchains and it’s the difficulty of implementing on new blockchains that lead to us wanting to create a platform for game devs to be able to use well made and documented tools to not have to suffer as we did. We do not plan to release it onto new blockchains but rather have other games be able to use our platform to release on several good chain projects with a strong audience and advantages.

Kerel: As can be seen from our project we are big believers of gamifying and strongly believe in NFT and DeFi. As we all know right now is a bull run and the hottest things in it are NFTs and Defi, as in 2017 bullr un a lot of project came up and built the infrastructure that now support blockchain. We believe that will also be the case here, and that us, along with some other projects, will build the new blockchain infrastructure.
